Nice smooth coffee with chocolate notes. Very good cup with a drip brewer.
This was delicious! Thank you for the selection! You'll have to forgive me, because I'm still kind of struggling to find my flavor vocabulary. I know it's good, but it's still difficult for me to articulate quite why.
With this high quality coffee, I've been brewing pretty much exclusively a cup at a time with my Aeropress. I've got a Porlex hand grinder, and I've really been enjoying the ritual of grinding the beans by hand, nosing the freshly ground coffee, and then brewing up a cup and trying to pick apart the smells and flavors I'm getting.
This service has been great for expanding my horizons, and I find myself really looking forward to my next bag of beans.
Send me one of your favorites! I'd love to continue my journey of discovery with a coffee that you're really excited about.
I also really liked this one from Panther. My favorite was one of the first coffees I received from them through Misto Box. If it ever comes back, please send!
Enjoyed this coffee prepared via pour over method. Pleasant notes of chocolate and plum, with balanced acidity, a syrupy mouthfeel, and neutral finish.
Had some trouble getting a lot of this bag with a pour over. Using an AeroPress revealed more of its character.
Probably my favorite machine drip coffee so far. Pourover was ok, but for a pot of coffee to have with breakfast I'd definitely buy this one again
Solid base espresso. Good crema. Very neutral.
Choclate decadence. Definitely the sort of coffee I prefer in the Winter and fall.
Brewed with V60. Milk chocolate notes did come through, chocolate not my favorite characteristic in coffee.
Super easy drinking which I really like, nothing to crazy but you can tell it is unique.
lighter roast, did better in a stronger brew like moka pot
very average coffee taste. nothing too interesting or fruity like i prefer with lighter roasts
Not my cup of tea. Tasted kind of like a bag of starbucks morning brew.
Didn't enjoy this coffee. Roasted too much for my taste. Tasted harsh and a bit burnt as an espresso. Maybe better as a drip?
Not a terrible coffee, but it mainly tasted like a classic cup of coffee that you can find anywhere. It was smooth, but nothing really stood out about this coffee that would make me buy it again.
Not bright enough. Not my favorite.
Great coffee, balanced, chocolatey, good structure. Would definitely get this again!
Not very flavorful and tasted kind of burnt
Overall, good flavors and very smooth. A step in the right directional as far as my taste. It’s good, but not memorable.
This coffee was great. I really appreciate its subtle flavors without being overpowering. The body was lacking at times, but the flavors were pleasant and it wasn't hard to find a good grind to brew at.
May fav so far. Dark and smoky.
Plain. No flavor.
Brewed with Breville precision brewer. Good depth, a little "heavier" than what we usually like but it works, with or without creamer. I get the chocolate and the balance; not as sure about the plum.
Excellent. Good flavor, balanced, just the right “brightness”. Really like this one.
Subtle but balanced flavours, slightly nutty with milk chocolate.
