The Flor del Sol was blended and roasted for you by PT's Coffee Roasting Co. Flor del Sol features a citrusy, chocolate aroma with a silky body, notes of raisin and caramel, and a lemony sweetness. It has a pleasant finish of caramel and chocolate.
Smells great, but the flavor seems very acidic and a bit underwhelming. Not terrible, but not great.
Folgers in a fancy bag. This is the kind of coffee you stock for occasions when you have non-coffee drinkers who can't appreciate a real cup of coffee.
This coffee is the best, so clean and flavorful
I liked the lighter roast a lot, it was a nice change from exclusively dark roasts.
it was well balanced and tasty
A little too acidic
Too light, not enough going on.
I liked the flavor, but it was too acidic for my taste.
This was an earthy coffee, lightly roasted as checked on the bag by the roaster and very meek on the palate. This is not a coffee for me.
My wife doesn't like raisins and didn't think that she would like this coffee, but she did like it.
Lovely bright taste with a pleasant zing! There is a hint of a lemon smell/taste, which was delicious. Brewed with a burr grinder coffee pot on a medium grind and strength.
It was lighter than I prefer and didn't seem to have much staying power.
Not quite strong enough
It was good, just not as good as some of the others from this subscription.
Slightly too acidic/bitter
Too acidic. Broke my non dairy creamer that hardly ever breaks. Too bright.
It was pretty good. Solid option
floral and bright. not very acidic. minor hints caramel.
Overall, I liked the aroma and taste. You can smell the raisins and cocoa. But, it's a little too light for my tastes.
Excellent coffee, loved the leather flavor notes without losing too much body.
This one was good! Loved the medium body and the acidic bite - not too fruity, which I appreciate.
Really enjoyed this coffee!
Excellent morning coffee. Smooth.
for me, primarily unroasted almond and cocoa powder.
It was certainly on the lighter and more acidic side. Good cup of coffee but not my favorite.
I liked its light body and interesting flavor profile. I picked up a black tea flavor that was especially prevalent when I prepared it via pour over.
started off the new year with an excellent coffee
Inconsistent Brewing on my end. I experimented with the pour over method, which is apparently the way to go with light roasts. I rather enjoyed it when I got a good cup. When I brewed it properly I could easily get the citrus and chocolate flavors. When I had an inconsistent brew I would often get a burnt, dark taste, but I fully believe this is user error, and not the coffee. Would buy again, purely to experiment and slowly begin to master light roasts.
Good for drip
Good but a little light.
This was a fine coffee, but didn't particularly stand out to me in any way
Not much flavor
Not a fan of the overall flavor profile. Flavors seem fairly muddled together and just seems like the citrus-y notes are overwhelming without actually tasting good
A bit thin flavor, not great for aeropress. Bad best results for single cup pour over.
Had trouble brewing this consistently but tasted good when i did
