Bitter and sweet. More chocolate-ish or nutty sweetness than fruity.
I'm not sure if it was just a bad roast or what, but this coffee had very mild flavors and an unpleasant after taste. Going to believe this was a poor roast, but not in a rush to try it again.
Don't normally like full bodied coffees like this, but this was one of the few that worked for me
Good but not super distinctive. Needs more acid IMO
Didn't like it. I like naturally processed beans but this one is too bitter for my taste. doesn't feel like light or light-medium roasts I usually drink more like a medium-dark. I tried to vary temperature and grind, didn't help much.
Don't like it
Got it today; poured my first cup. Phenomenal. Smooth yet vibrant. Love it.
The “strawberry lemonade” notes aren’t my thing. I really liked the first two shipments which I think were more traditional, bold flavors. Not so much here...I don’t want to say I’d never try anything with an fruit note again but I certainly didn’t like this...waaay too fruity and the aromas it put off were not good either.
This is probably a really great coffee, but it's a little darker than what we like. Probably closer to a medium roast than medium light.
Brewing into espresso. Excellent drink, very lively and smooth. Slightly prefer the uganda from Huck, but very excellent.
Fucking delicious, best I've had so far
It's not bad. We couldn't notice any specific notes. Not acidic which we liked.
Great flavor profile. Love the acidity.
Ok. would not buy again.
A tasty morning coffee!
Roasted a little light. It is a smooth, citrus that isn't my favorite.
It was good!
I really enjoyed having a light roasted coffee from this region and from this new roaster. I tend to only buy African sourced beans and so it was a pleasant surprise to give this one a whirl and to enjoy it so much!
This tasted burnt and not good, first time I’ve had coffee arrive that I didn’t want to drink.
Too dark for my taste
Panther is great at bringing in roasty chocolate notes and this one also has a wonderful strawberry jamminess. Not tasting much lemon - bag says more accurately strawberry lemonade, Golden raisin, graham cracker
Absolutely loved this and based on the flavor notes I didn’t expect to at all. The flavor really came through using my drip method and French press, with no bitter or sour aftertaste. It tasted both refreshing and sweet. Hope to see more like this!
I did not like this one at all. Not sure why.
Bordering on too much roast vs. coffee taste, but still overall good.
Just made my first V60 of this coffee this morning and didn't like it at all! It's far too dark for my taste, and I felt like I mostly tasted the roast. I'll try adjusting the grind coarser and maybe even using slightly cooler water, but I don't have high hopes. If my curator is reading this, please only send very light roasts :)
Wonderful roast. Flavors notes were among my favorite for coffees.
This coffee tastes amazing! The lemon and fruit notes come through nicely
One of my favorites so far!
Absolutely spectacular. Great complex fruity higher notes while being easy enough to make at home with a hand grinder and pour-over.
