Solid coffee. It has a good balance of taste and smoothness, but isn't remarkable either
favorite so far
Light and airy, smooth and non-acidic; I can't say enough good things about this coffee. It tastes CLEAN. I could drink this all day if i didn't risk the caffeine rush.
Decent taste and aroma, lacking the back of the mouth richness
No distinctive tastes.
I have always been a big fan of Colectivo. Whenever I am in Milwaukee or Madison, Colectivo is always one of my first stops. It is definitely one of the things I will miss about Wisconsin, the state I am leaving after four years as a college student in just a few weeks. I was excited to have a bit of Colectivo before my departure and this coffee definitely impressed. On the lighter end, this coffee is vibrant and bright, offering excellent fruity notes with a mouth-feel which is perfectly balanced between tea-like and heavy. There is almost a juiciness to this coffee which stays on the tongue after drinking. All in all, one of the best coffees I have had from Colectivo and this is speaking from experience of having quite a few bags under my belt.
Thin and finicky. Was a challenge to make this coffee taste consistently good despite well-constrained brew parameters on a Hario V60. Citrus and chocolate was vibrant and pleasant the few times I got a good cup out of this.
I was really looking forward to this coffee and honestly, I felt underwhelmed. "Dynamic" is not a word I would use to describe this roast. It was a fairly mild, very light roast, and the tropical fruit notes (which I was anticipating with excitement) just didn't pull through in the end.
Flavor profile was too subtle.
Not very strong with the flavors. Still, very smooth taste, though. Maybe I should have made it stronger?
not my favorite. Not too bright and lacking in character
