This is the Lake Shore Drive Blend brought to you by Passion House Coffee Roasters. Their signature blend is a combination of washed coffees from South America and Africa masterfully roasted to brighten up your day. A blast of citrus coats the mouth with candied oranges and lemon curd, finishing with a resounding milk chocolate.
Loved how light it is. The smell is amazing. Gave 4 stars because it is my first time trying a subscription, so I am excited to see what else is out there!
Smooth and not too bitter
Subtle flavor, or maybe I'm not used to light roast? I usually drink medium roast but wanted to try something different. It's ok, initially I drank it with milk and was disappointed with how subtle the flavor was but now I'm drinking it black and it's much better.
Good, not amazing. A bit too light maybe?
Loved this one! Definitely a lighter roast but not too acidic.
Weak tasting and bitter
This coffee is so good. I love chocolate and lemon curd. You hit the nail on the head.
Absolutely adored the packaging, however I found the flavor is a bit acidic. I am not sure if this is because of the bean or if I’m brewing my espresso wrong, hence the overall good review.
One of my favorites, it can be a bit difficult to get the flavor right but when you do it’s amazing
Don't get a lot of light roasts and this was a refreshing change of pace. Balanced.
this really hit the spot
Emily liked. Michael did not.
It was ok, not usually a fan of blends but decided to give it a shot. After experimenting with ratios and brew methods i concluded that it’s fine but lacked a bit of clarity in the taste.
Loved this! And love a local roaster, too :) Definitely one I really love.
Very odd combination, but somehow it worked. Loved how it smelled (they should make a candle that smells like this).
Chemex brewed, encore grind at 20. Really enjoyed the bright acidity of this one. I didn't taste milk chocolate but it wasn't missed.
Good coffee, but fairly generic "coffee" taste. Not a lot of complex flavors come through.
Loved it!! Loved lemon curds!?
Intense on first brew, maybe too many beans
Nice acidity that makes the mouth water but not too bitter. Clean taste but not much depth. More milk than milk chocolate on the finish. Decent but not memorable.
This is amazing! Would love to see similar notes in the future. Doesn’t taste ‘roasted.’
I love this one, more like this please. Made with French Press. Drank black.
Wonderful! Brewed with Chemex just about 5 min. Water temp 96. Grind 20 on my Baratza encore. Maybe slightly over-extracted so will try a little courser grind tomorrow. Love this one so far.
This coffee is good but not amazing, overall it's very "non offensive" (light flavor) and easy to drink. I don't love any of the flavors and it is a little "buttery" for me. I rate this 4 stars because I am happy to drink it but I don't love it like the last one.
Would love more blends like this one -- it was divine!
tasty! sharp and tangy, but well-balanced
Very good, could be had anytime without getting tired, as drip coffee.
Great flavor profile!
Not too much roast, good mouthfeel
Really nice drinkable blend. The lemon notes weren’t as notable as I expected
This was my favorite coffee so far. It is perfectly balanced i.e. not too acidic, great taste.
Any brands that are more like this one would be amazing :)
Dried out quickly on the bag over 30 day period. Noticeable around day 8.
Love the flavor without it being too overwhelming.
This one did not have the chocolate flavor I really wanted.
Did not like as much as the first coffee (Populace House Blend), still working on being able to describe specifics.
Not sure if this matters for taste but I did notice that the beans didn't look as nice in terms of consistency in size, shape, color. Somewhat shriveled.
Little too much chocolate flavor
I just personally didn't love it, it was too acidic and biter taste. I ended up mixing it with other more mild beans to use.
Lemon notes were Surprising. Enjoyed this one.
I loved the flavor of this coffee and how strong it was.
