This is the Mujeres Unidas / Women Producers Group brought to you by Spyhouse Coffee Roasters. In response to gender inequity and inequality in the coffee supply chain, Spyhouse has chosen to create a year-round offering sourced exclusively from women coffee farmers. The current iteration is a rich and decadent single origin Guatemalan offering with notes of milk chocolate, brownies, spiced pecans, and caramel.
Tasting notes on the bag were different from those stated on the site. Still pretty good. 3.5
Kind of dull, not much taste
I would not call this a coffee that is super chocolatey. However, I would drink this coffee again. It’s smooth, and a lovely taste. The spiced nut I would not call this a coffee that is super chocolatey. However, I would drink this coffee again. It’s smooth, and lovely taste. The spiced nuts tasting notes is what sticks out to me the most.
The description on the bag (chocolate, hazelnut and orange liqueur) does not match the description on the website (chocolate, brownies, spiced pecan, caramel). The orange liqueur does come through so it would have been good to know that its one the key flavor notes to expect.
More citrus than I care for, but definitely complex. Has the underlying chocolate and rich tones but the aftertaste is a little bitter. I'm missing the nutty part, but maybe that's just my palate. Don't think I would order this again.
Balanced, nice roast (mostly light), very tasty
Ran out of this one faster than expected. I liked it more than I thought I would!
Not to my liking, seems to have an odd flavor in it that I cannot describe
Tasty, rich flavor cup.
Smooth flavour with some pleasant nutty notes.
Nice smooth coffee with hint of rich chocolate. Very nice and fun. I could drink this all the time
It was pretty good, maybe a little too nutty even a little bitter finish
favorite coffee so far
I love this one. The baking spice notes really come through, but there are some really beautiful orange notes as it cools, as well. Really enjoyed this brew.
We loved it!
Interesting rich fruitiness. The pecan and chocolate come through with some banana. If too much sugar is added it will taste like banana bread
A little too acidic, I want darker roasts with more nutty flavors
