This is the Atticus Blend brought to you by Steadfast Coffee Roasters. The Atticus features high quality Washed and Natural processed coffees from Latin America and Africa. This seasonal multi-use blend is inspired by the literary character for which it's named. As espresso, the Atticus is balanced and consistent, yet daring enough to go against the status quo. Complex on its own, the Atticus also stands up well when paired with milk. And for those wanting a comfort cup or "house blend" drip coffee, the Atticus is a great option.
I loved this coffee. I was able to pull great, consistent shots. The flavor was excellent.
Very good with milk, maybe Kyle's favorite
Good bean both good as espresso and milk drink.
Excellent morning coffee.
Liked it a lot!
I must’ve missed making notes on this, but I do remember this taking a bit of time to dial in on espresso. I enjoyed it on pour over, but it wasn’t our favorite using the Lelit.
I really enjoyed this coffee! Very fresh, aromatic, and pairs well with oat milk foam. Smooth and easy to drink
This one taster excellent
I think I like something stronger and darker.
We think this coffee’s flavor was flat with no complexity. Drinkable but nothing special. Compared to the Intelligentsia House blend that we usually get from the grocery, the Intelligentsia is notably better and more complex.
Didn't love it. Tasted a little bitter/but to me. Not enough flavor
Very good, the bit darker flavors are good for the fall!
Didn’t love it.
Too tangy/ fruity for me
Good, middle of the road coffee. Probably not something I'd get again.
Steadfast Atticus was good coffee but a little light on the roast for our tastes.
Very bright and fruity, acidic.
Very nice plum and chocolate flavors. Really easy to get a great cup with this blend.
tastes pretty standard nothing interesting in the profile
There was always a little bitterness to start each sip before the flavor profile hit. Soft chocolate when it did.
Chemex, 25g/400g - smooth with chocolate notes
Several shipments in, all the coffees I’ve tried are lacking in depth and flavor :(
Lovely balanced, even coffee
light, hints of chocolate but overall not very flavorful
Tasty. Not too acidic.
Pretty good, lacking depth
First espresso I’ve had from mistobox that I couldn’t seem to get dialed in right. I have a breville and it’s not a stepless grinder so I’m sure that makes a difference. Makes a nice French press.
I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the mold smell from n.v the beans. Very disappointing since the coffee was very balanced with mix of fruit and chocolate tones, made good esspresso, but that unsavory moldy tone would ruin it
This has been one of my favorites so far
Light, fruity flavors, but doesn't have much of a kick in the morning.
easy to drink
Loved this! Lighter flavor than some previous beans I've had, and excellent taste. I'll be reorder this.
I looooved this one! Favorite so far!
Roasted too light. Very green which didn’t allow many flavors to come through.
Very tasty. Tasted better on a coarser grind than expected.
I am a huge fan of this which is surprising. I'm less of a fan of stone fruit and chocolate oriented coffees, but this was an exception. That said, this made a very good espresso, and it mixed well with alcohol. This was an all-around good coffee for pretty much any style of drink that I tried.
Good and solid but nothing delightful
Thanks so much for the blend. I very much like the character of the espresso. I just wanted to alert you to a hiccup in the shipping. The roast date on the bag is marked April 22. The shipment went out April 29 from Nashville, according to my Mistobox records. I received the beans on Friday, May 8 here in California. Hard to solve the snail pace of USPS, but I would offer a friendly suggestion of roasting and shipping same day, if possible. Stay safe and take care!
