This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect 1000 Faces Coffee will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
The bell's Blend was carefully roasted for you by 1000 Faces Coffee. Whimsical, expressive, bright, alive, and eye opening - bell's Blend is 1000 Face's new school blend for the expressive coffee aficionado. This coffee is a bit nutty, a bit sweet, and very balanced.
Tasted ok, had an issue with producing a lot of times that clogged my pour over.
The flavor is good, but the notes are not distinguishable.
This was not strong enough for me. I tried to do a 6oz cup with the same amount of grounds as my 8oz cup and it was still to weak. Would of loved the flavor combination if stronger.
Good solid coffee nothing too spectacular about it.
So delicious!!! My favorite coffee yet!
Great for a latte. Definitely preferred it from the moka pot with latte milk than black from the Chemex. We were lucky enough to visit the roastery in person a few months ago, awesome space and amazing baristas.
Not a dark enough roast for my taste.
I think this was my favorite to date.
Really enjoyed the balanced profile of this blend. Great flavor as well! Would definitely order this again in the future.
Great balance, flavor and smell... Loovin it
Really liked this coffee
Would like a stronger flavor
Very nutty, with undertones of brown sugar. I might get the apple, but not sure about the chocolate.
Was a bit too sour for my liking.
Possibly the best coffee I have ever tasted.
Good fresh coffee. Not very interesting otherwise.
I found this one odd, considering my preferences not including Floral or Fruity. I guess it was sent because of the "Nutty" descriptor? Regardless, it was a little too light for my taste.
This was on of my favorites from the first time I subscribed. I Love the punchy flavor of this blend.
Much more in line with what we like, very well balanced with bright nutty notes.
Nothing special, would prefer to not have this again.
Drinkable but not something I would seek out again.
I like this one ok. :)
Tasty and mellow. Also really appreciate that this is one of the first coffee bags I've noticed that is compostable.
Too light for us to enjoy. We even used the French press and followed their directions for a bold cup. We didn't enjoy the notes of raisin. Also your tasting notes differ from what the bag says, which is disheartening.
Light, but not underwhelming, I really enjoyed this one despite the fact that it wasn’t super bold
I like this coffee. It has some citru, but it doesn’t overwhelm the other flavor, some nuttiness as well.
I enjoyed this one, especially the aromatics. The taste was consistent and balanced.
I liked it better than the others but didn't love it.
It's not a bad coffee at all, it's just...there. Nothing really exceptional about it.
Not much needs to be said about this coffee. It fits the description almost exactly. It's bright with nutty and raisin notes and a caramel-like sweetness.
Something about it doesn't taste good to me. Something tangy-ish.
Did not like at all.
Nice, easy blend.
Light bodied with an acidic after taste. Did not taste the caramel, prominent citrus and raisin flavors.
Accidentally reviewed before receiving - will update once its here!
Not to my liking...too citricy and not enough depth of coffee flavor. Seemed a little bitter to me.
This was fantastic. the roasting was on the lighter side, but the flavor, caramel notes, etc. made it just about perfect for my tastes.
Hard for me to extract,
Constantly too slow despite adjusting grind size.
Nutty, sweet flavor though.
This coffee is excellent! Very smooth, rich and balanced. I could definitely taste more nutty notes and slightly sweet, caramel notes as well. May be the best coffee I've received yet!
Delicious! I absolutely loved this blend - it's described perfectly.
It's a solid coffee. Nothing Earth-shattering, but very nice.
I really like this coffee. I definitely get the citrus notes on the back end of it. Also, as it cools in the cup the citrus notes become more pronounced. The Carmel is more on the front end and isn't extremely noticeable.
Really enjoy this coffee. I am not a huge fan of chocolate so it's nice to have the flavor of an bold coffee
wonderful coffee! ordered some more from them!
Very good. Nice balanced flavor. Tastes of subtle raisins with a nutty finish.
Perfect combination of flavors. Really nice crema when pulling espresso shots. Delicious and smooth finish.
Like this a lot. Taste the nuttiness and caramel. Not overly acidic - nice and smooth.
not quite as flavorful as the others
Seemed kind of one note. Not as nuanced and interesting as previous roasts
Not bad, but caramel and nuts are not flavors of which I am particularly fond.
This one was just a little bland for us. We tend to enjoy coffee more with stronger flavors.
Don't like this
Good but not great. Hints of citrus.
I enjoyed the caramel and nutty flavors. I bit lighter flavor than I was expecting, but still a nice change of pace.
Little lighter than others. Good flavor.
I like this one! While I'm not noticing that I like the beans that come from a common region, I do like balanced, smooth, light-to medium, with notes of caramel and baking spices. That seems to be the magic formula.
This is obviously a fantastic coffee, but as I've mentioned before, the brightness is not really my preferred flavor. I like darker, nuttier, and this seems really bright still. I did an iced pourover (per instructions 1000 Faces' booklet), a regular pourover, and iced drip.
Nice caramel finish
The flavor was very amazing. Not sure how to describe it but exactly what I was looking for.
smooth & balanced as they say
Nice nuttiness. Perfect balance of lightness with body to it.
Very well balanced cup, rich, full, and not bitter at all. Excellent!
4.5 Stars. Really enjoying this coffee. The notes are a little bolder which I enjoy. I seem to be taking an interest in roasts that have a nutty, chocolate flavor. This coffee is one of my favorites so far.
Enjoyed the coffee and really like the rich taste
Very good. would like again sometime
Was ok served hot, but I would not drink it iced. Flavors were a bit weird.
Wasn't my favorite. I think it was a little to light for my liking.
Very balanced and not a bad coffee. Just kind of boring to me. Not very exciting flavors.
Excellent coffee! Definitely one of the richer ones i've had from mistobox...with a very complex flavor. Brews very nicely with a kalita wave!
I'm beginning to think every blend has caramel in it. Is there any diversity? I mean, the coffee isn't awful. But we're just getting overwhelmed with all the caramel. Most people are noting that the flavor is mild, but it's all I can taste.
This blend has many similarities to the previous coffees but is still makes a good cup.
Nutty aroma and taste. Not as full bodied as I like but not for people who like a lighter medium roast it's probable very good.
Very nice dark and nutty flavor
This was one heck of a finicky bag of coffee! Depending on how fine or coarse I ground the coffee beans it went from light and fruity to almost smoky and rich. I just couldn't get a consistent cup of coffee so I am taking off one star. When it was good, it was very good, but when it was bad, it was just pretty bad.
Not a fan of this one. It was tart, and a little sour on the aftertaste.
Taste fine. The only problem I'm having with all of these selections I'm being sent is that I'm getting something extra with the coffee bean. I would like a coffee bean that's just roasted without added flavors. I don't want a hint of this or a hint of that...just a roasted bean please!
I wanted to like this one but it just tasted boring. A decent aroma but lacked in the flavor department no matter how I adjusted my brew in the v60.
Just finished it. Brewed it predominantly on Eva Solo and French Press and the flavor translated very nicely over both. Running it through stovetop brought out the nutty flavor for sure.
LOVE this one. The notes are rich and warm, and I love the caramel.
This was good. Not too strong, and a nice acidity to it.
Very happy with this one.
I noticed the nutty richness. Very enjoyable as a morning cup.
i thought that it was a little too nutty, but overall, it was a good, smooth cup.
Fairly bland. Caramel and rich? No way. Just a straight up coffee with no fun.
i can really taste the golden raisen notes.i love the unique taste. one of my favorites
The aroma for this coffee is amazing. It makes a very smooth and balanced cup. The flavors are somewhat mild, but that doesn't mean that I'm not a fan. I wouldn't call it complex, but bright is a great way to describe it. Bell's Blend is significantly better than the Kickapoo blend that I had before. I'm definitely enjoying it.
Like it a lot!
Very nice, similar to last one. I also feel like this one is better as a pour-over than in the French press, which is my daily coffee-making method.
Brewed with a moka pot (slightly tamped, moderate heat, large espresso grind size). Very smooth and drinkable coffee. I found the aroma is very powerful (not overwhelming but very robust and sweet - it's something like freshly baked desserts). Once brewed this didn't seem to come through but the coffee was extremely drinkable - it went down like water, but still had a nice calm distinctly coffee flavour with some creaminess - but the flavours were all very mild and subdued I found. The flavours didn't stand up or out much, but that also included having no bitterness at all for the first few brews. Also the packaging is gorgeous for 1000 faces (going to save the bag just for the design)
Our favorite coffee to date
I didn't like it, I think because we wanted something a little creamier or smoother. It tasted a little more bitter than I would have liked
Love the nutty and chocolate undertones. The aroma is fantastic.
Ann & Mark
This is a lovely blend. Not terribly complex to my palate, but an enjoyable cup of coffee. It feels more bright than nutty or chocolate.
I found it just blah. Not much aroma, not much flavor. My husband found it bitter.
Really great coffee. Full of flavor that leaves a great after taste. It really wakes you up.
Second best so far (after Kickapoo). Has improved with some distance from the roasting date.
Chirag & Uma
This coffee is a bit more acidic and bitter than I typically enjoy, but it has a nice nutty flavor profile once you get past this.
This coffee has a bright, slightly bitter profile that, personally, isn't my favorite. The finish clings to the back of your tongue with chocolate and bitter notes - if you like a 'rougher' coffee, this works well. :)
My first impression was that I did not love this coffee. I liked the look of the roast, a light medium looking roast, and it has a nice aroma upon grinding & brewing, but the first sip hit me as bitter.
I have since brewed this several more times, and find that while that first-sip complexity is a bit unsettling, the rest of the cup is quite enjoyable, with chocolate flavors and a silky mouth feel. I do like the overall effect but wish that first sip wasn't such a shock to my palate. I think my ideal coffee is just a touch mellower than this one, but this is a very nice cup of coffee.
Would definitely order again.
Id say this is unlike any other coffee I've ever drank before. The whole bean smelled really good and bright would be the exact term I'd use for the actual flavor of the coffee however those chocolate & nut smells I had from the bean didn't seem to transfer into the cup. Good, not great, but definitely expanded my horizons which is the the purpose of Misto.
Between the first two options I'd lean towards the Tiger Walk Espresso's flavor profile more than the Bells. If we're looking at the ol coffee flavor wheel I'd say I definitely enjoy the sugary & nut/chocolate aroma spectrum and the sweet/salt taste spectrum the most but I'm totally down to go beyond the safe space.

Didn't enjoy as much as our prior shipment. Too nutty and didn't care for the chocolate aspect. Also a little too light.
Really enjoy flavor profile of this one
I'm confused at this point (two shipments received). I have opted for medium roasts, and twice now I have received coffees that are definitely light roasts. First the "1950", and now "Bell's Blend". Not only is the Bell's Blend light (just a glance at the beans indicates that), but it has a very thin, almost flavorless character to it, much like canned supermarket coffees do, or even good coffees that have gone stale. I will be changing my preference to dark roasts, to see if I can get anything that is near a medium roast. Very confusing!
It is complex but primarily nutty. Hard to extract all the flavors. Slightly bitter
I liked the bell's blend but not as much as day tripper blend. Had a little bit more of a bitter and burnt taste to it
I didn't really like this one. It had a strange bittery after-taste that I didn't find too pleasant.
Excellent! Just a hair under The Verve coffee we first received in this subscription.
I really enjoyed this one. The chocolate aroma is the first thing that hits me with this blend, so there is really no complaints about this one!
I love this coffee. It's slightly mellow for my taste on a whole but it tastes amazing.
I've only had a few cups of this - but initial impression is that I liked this one a little better than the Dilano's special dark - same full bodied flavor, but seems more balanced in regular coffee, and surprisingly good in a latte as well.
update - the flavor is more nuanced than Dilano's, especially in regular coffee - I can taste a bit of almost fruitiness along with the nutty/musty flavor that I associate with darker coffees. I like it very much, and I think I wouldn't mind even stronger fruit/bright favors as long as it doesn't overpower the nutty/musty.
This was a good brew
Very delightful blend.
This blend was very weak no matter what ratio I used. It didn't have a very distinct or bold flavor. However, the small flavor I didn't notice was good.
Still not roasted enough for my taste
Well balanced cup with vibrant flavors
Very bright and enjoyable. I appreciate its nutty flavor.
This is a step in the right direction for us - a little lighter and brighter. The beans are nice light roast, grounds give aromas of cherries and orange peel, and spice in the heady range - like nutmeg and cinnamon. The coffee, brewed in a chemex, makes a juicy, bright cup. Tasty. Balanced. Not particularly complex.
Nice roast that reminds me of winter. Would be 5 stars but the flavor notes are not very apparent.
Like the bright flavor of this coffee
I liked it. It was smooth from the chocolate, but i liked the flavor from the spices too. Good vibes.
Not my fav coffee but not too bad either.A bit too fruity for me.
Love this blend. Amazingly light-bodied with wonderful flavors. I had, by far, the best results on the Chemex, followed by the V60.
Too fruity for me.
This bag was SO. GOOD. Not only did the bag smell great, the coffee was even better. It's nutty and just enough sweet that I love drinking it black.
Nice, a bit weak and not enough body
This was really nice, Seth!! I like to try first with my french press -- I find I get more of the complexity. I could immediately smell the chocolate. nice! Thank you for taking the time and attention.
Only the many-faced god could make a coffee so smooth and earthy, yet unassuming. It blends in. No single flavor overpowers the others."If a girl tells me her name, a girl may have coffee."
just the right darkness, sweetness, and nuttiness
This has a wonderful chocolate flavor, but seems too heavy on the spices. Spices leaves a bad after taste in your mouth.
I like this coffee very much. It's a dark roast, full flavored with a strong cocoa finish, no fruity or wine taste.
Good coffee, but way to light for us
Good, well balanced coffee that is an easy daily drinker.
good for a cup of coffee, great for a daily cup.
This was okay but not particularly notable.
This was awesome!
We are back and forth on this one 3.5 to 4 stars. It seemed to take on a fuller flavor with food. It seemed more of a medium roast to us with "woody" overtones. Kind of grows on you...
Perfect balance of caramel and citrus. Hard to find a roast that can do both. First sips are light caramel, but the lingering finish is a lemony tang.
This coffee is a medium roast at best. The flavor is nice with some roasty notes and some cedar but has a bright body with an acidity noticed in lighter roast coffees. It's not a bad roast, but a little too light for my taste.
This was right up my alley! I love it! Sometimes, when I am in the mood, I mix a little of the medium roast coffee I still have left and that is good too, but I really like this one just as is. I guess I am more of a light-medium roast coffee drinker now!
My favorite one yet! Definitely agree this is a nutty chocolate, bright and delicious coffee.
This coffee was pretty good. Nothing too crazy special about it but it made a nice cup.
A little to light of a coffee.
My favorite so far. I really like this blend of nutty and chocolate flavors
As advertised, Chocolate and nutty, with kind of a floral aftertaste, mild and pleasant. A good everyday coffee.
Very smooth finish and mellow tasting. Right where I prefer it.
I like this coffee. Definitely would buy again, but it's a little light, not dark enough. But I still like it, I just think it is a lighter flavor
enjoyed the nuttiness but found it a bit acidic
"Comprising of washed coffees..." and when brewed as I have all the others I've received, tastes as I imagine steeped cardboard would... bland. I am by no stretch of the imagination a coffee "snob" but this one just came up short for MY personal preferences. You might like it. For me it's just "ok".
Smooth and very very light. I could definitely taste the nutty flavor over the chocolate notes. A little to light for my liking though.
Not bad had good flavors and not too bitter at all but I enjoy something bolder and stronger.
The smell is strong of caramel, but barely hints at chocolate. First taste is sweet, and inviting. Second taste is mellow, almost flat. It loses it charm quickly, but in it's defense, the caramel last until the very nice citrus finish. Caffiene level is mild. Flavor profile is well rounded, but almost too subtle. If the volume was turned up, this would be a 4 star coffee for sure! -Kyle
