It was okay. It didn't have much of a different taste to me than Folger's "Black Silk" blend. Actually I may like the Folgers better - which says everything I need to say. I would rather have this however than, say, Gas station coffee.

You could not take this cup of coffee away from me if you tried- initial aromas of caramel candies and roasted nuts jump out of the cup, flavors which develop into intense versions of themselves upon sipping. The perfect amount of acidity and a surprising amount of bold flavor for this roast, I will definitely be searching this coffee out for a daily drinker!

Even my unsophisticated coffee palate could taste the cocoa flavor. This coffee seemed more sensitive than others to adjustments in brewing, just a small change in grind or tamping had a noticeable impact on the final result. When I got it right it was wonderful.

The flavors and notes in this one were great, but for some reason it wasn't as bold as I would expect. I even tried brewing some pots in my chemex extra strong, and it still just didn't quite seem like it was enough. But I still give it 5 stars because I kept wanting more!

My favorite roast so far. Smooth tasting with a little bit of sweetness. Overall, just a well rounded good coffee, not too bitter, not to acidic. The finer grind around 8 with a shorter seep time gave me the best results.

Really loved this one. This and the Day Tripper blend have be questioning my usual tendencies to go for very bold dark roasts. I really enjoyed the balance of smooth drinkability while still having some bold flavors in this one.

This was a nice fit for me. I normally go really dark. This leans more in the medium direction but it's got the roundness of flavor I expect from a dark. It can be over steeped but it's reasonably fault tolerant. I enjoyed some of the brighter, less earthy flavors as a change of pace from my usual. It takes cram and sugar really well and will probably mostly drink it that way, rather than black.

True medium roast. You get a strong cinnamon, nuts, and sugar aroma with the beans/ grinds. That translates to a medium body, flavor, roast, and oiliness. It finishes a bit sweet and is a solid every down cup of coffee. Definitely an afternoon cup to restart after lunch.

Decent cup, but thin, and tastes too bitter and astringent at first. I've been trying to dial this one in on my grinder and unlike the 4 or 5 star rated beans I've received in the past, I just can't get this one to a good spot.

I don't know what the flavor notes are in this coffee, but they are strange. Sort of earthy, but not in a good way for me. I definitely don't get "bold with notes of caramel" or roasted nuts. Toast, maybe. It smells strange, it tastes strange... this is only my second complete miss from Mistobox, but please don't send me another one like this.

The coffee does have a very good bold taste nutty taste. However, seems like it's missing something. Perhaps if the beans were a darker roast it will give it the spicier taste its missing.

Loved this coffee! Definitely had the flavor profile I like and was super drinkable. I did notice that the texture of the coffee was a little thin. Would be good to try a coffee that is just one type (not a blend) and has a little more "oomph" or body to it in the texture. Loving what I've tried to far!

I liked this better than the first coffee. Both struck me as being light and pleasant, this coffee a little less so, but I think I'd like to move on to something with a stronger flavor profile

I found this coffee relatively mild compared to my traditional daily brew. Good caramel taste, but I think I want something darker and more chocolate like for my home cup. I took this on vacation with me for several days, and it was the perfect travel brew. Without access to a scale, I was able to make a consistently good brew. I would give this coffee a 3.5 for home use and a 4 on the road.

This is more my style! I love the dark, bold flavor while still not being a true dark roast. The caramel flavor is nice too. This is the area of flavor that I'm looking for. Would like to try a couple more similar to this flavor profile.

I feel like this tastes very similar to the last coffee you sent. It is nice and mild, not too bitter and just the right amount of sweet. Goes down easy

This coffee tastes and smells great at first, but I find a bitter aftertaste. It seemed a little too strong for my preference, so I tried grinding it a little coarser, and tried using a little less than usual....but that bitter aftertaste is still there.

This coffee is the MVP of the coffee world. It’s not trying to be anything except what it is – extraordinary coffee. No hints of this, undercurrents of that, or aroma of the other. Full bodied, with a nutty aftertaste. Overall smooth and not too bitter or acidic. 10/10 will drink again.
