I've like other Huckleberry blends but mostly I'm not really a fan of the darker roasts and this is not an exception. It was ok, but not really my jam.

(I think I initially reviewed the wrong one, and this is the one I meant to review.) I loved this one! It tasted very well-balanced. I still liked it at different times of day and with or without food, and usually that has a big effect for me on whether or not coffee tastes good. Please keep this one in the rotation!

Didn't care much for this. Tasted pretty dark and almost burnt. No real depth of flavor.

Even though it's a darker roast, it has the delicate complexity of a lighter roast. Very nice latte bean.

I have had a subscription to Mistobox for two years and this is the only coffee I have thrown away because I disliked it so much. I found it too thin and insubstantive but also really bitter.

I haven't written a review in a while, but just wanted to say that these selections are most always spot on. Thanks. I love these rich chocolaty, nutty type flavors, without any smokiness. They are perfect for espresso drinks with and without milk.

85g coarse grind in a 4 pint mason jar, cold brewed for 20 hours.

Very smooth and pretty low acidity. Chocolate notes definitely come through the strongest. I made this with my chemex. Very good and well rounded cup of coffee.

I brew with Moccamaster drip coffee. Immediately smacked with the notes of chocolate/nuttiness' described from the bag. Smells absolutely amazing and tastes the same. It's my first bag from Misto but a great way to start. Next will be something of the opposite descriptors to calibrate what I like. Description is exactly right: Chocolate, Dark Sugars, etc.

I am a fan of their Blue Orchid Blend and wanted to try a darker roast. This was also good and made a nice latte.

As someone who normally likes a light-med dark roast, I thought upon my first sip that this was too dark. Further sipping revealed that this was the equivalent to about 65% dark chocolate and one to sip and savour rather than chug. JUST the right side of it being “too dark”. Lovely, full bodied, vibrant, smooth, complex enough to keep you coming back.

Tried multiple brew methods, including espresso, pour over and aeropress and just could not get the flavor right. Was either too bitter or too earthy for my taste. This is one of the few coffees that I have been unable to find the right taste by experimenting with multiple brew methods, I do not know what I did wrong here.

I was very pleased with my first cup today. I am looking forward to making my signature coffees with this blend. The dark sugars gave a Cuban Espresso flavor. the Chocolate and toffee taste is temping me to make a Summer Cappuccino with peach syrup in the froth. The overall nuttiness should hold up well to my macadamia nut syrup milk for an exotic latte.

After trying various grind settings on coffee grinder to make it more fine/coarse, thus far, none of the brews have really come out making this a must-have cup of coffee. Perhaps this has more sweetness than I prefer?
