Vernon
One of my favorites. Similar to Night Moves. Chocolate and fruit flavors come through.

Anthony
Not bad for a medium roast but the roast takes over most of the flavor. Bitter cocoa, tiny bit of smoke. Charred grapefruit maybe? Won't be going back to this one. Second one from this roaster I didn't like.
10/27/2020

Umang
Great flavor. Really enjoyed this one. Would like more like this. Just amazing
10/14/2020

Jared
Very good blend of coffee. I love Ethiopian beans, flavorful, bright. This blend brought me back to the first coffee (Starbucks Ethiopian sidoma) that got me hooked on the notes and different hints that coffees have. Kudos
7/23/2020

Jonathan
Solid overall!
11/14/2019

Leah
We loved this coffee for a medium roast. It was rich with flavor, nice roasty notes while still retaining a lot of fruit flavor.
11/8/2019

Marc
Very very disappointing. I would actually like my money back on this one. There is no taste to this coffee. Almost seems like these are old beans but the label suggests otherwise. I’m seriously thinking of just throwing this bag out. A waste
11/5/2019

Andrew

Awesome!
9/29/2019

Elizabeth
our favorite so far. Almost tea like in quality.
7/2/2019

Brad
It was Ok, but I couldn't really taste any of the described notes. Maybe I will give it another shot.
4/10/2019

Trung
was just okay. not as good as other Ethiopians I've tried
11/6/2018

Patrick
Strawberries, a hint of green grape, an unpleasant undercurrent of char
9/28/2018

Christopher
i'm a bit surprised how much i like this one, given that it's roasted a bit darker than i usually prefer. that said, the description is spot on - juicy in the middle and dark at the end. it's been a solid brew for me.
9/27/2018

Emma
I really love the fruitiness + chocolate! Makes this coffee very enjoyable to drink.
8/31/2018

Philip
Somewhat dissapointed with this one. It was labeled medium light roast online but came to me labeled medium and was a full medium roast. Such a shame to use that kind of a roast on a natural Ethiopia. I pick up some of the berry notes but they are muted and overpowered by the roast. A real shame to do that to this coffee.
7/19/2018

Adam
This one consistently stands out when it shows up. I move my beans to a sealed glass jar and set the bag aside, and I always go back and double check this one.
7/17/2018

PC
Pretty good stuff. I could smell the berry on the nose through the box. The brewing didn't produce as much of that berry in the cup, but it was a pretty great coffee still
7/11/2018

Riley
This is so close to a 5 star. The most fruit forward cup I've had. The bag smells just like blueberries, and the taste is similar. Really excellent. Convinced me to stick with natural processing, and not look back.

That said, the roast is a little darker than I like. More of a medium than a light. As forward as the blueberry is, the other flavors are a little obscured by the molasses of the roast.
7/6/2018

Dane
Really enjoying this one. Delightful chocolate and berry notes.
6/18/2018

Matthew
This is an amazing coffee!
I've brewed it using the V60, Clever and espresso machine and every time it comes out silky smooth, great body, light bitterness, the chocolate and fruity undertones add a nice flavor profile, great mouth feel.
6/10/2018

Chirag & Uma
I really enjoyed the berry notes in this one. This has a very nice balance of sweet/tangy berry flavor and bitter cocoa.
6/2/2018

Ryan
Don’t really like this one. I believe I’ve had it before. Doesn’t seem to have an exact brew date (just said June) but I may have missed it.
6/2/2018

Mike
This was one of the best you sent us. thanks. Wouldn't mind getting that again if they still have it .
5/9/2018

Chris
Very good. Smooth. Great as cold brew.
4/25/2018

Richard
Best coffee we've brewed at home to date. Shot pull great on my Rocket Appartamento. Great with or without milk.
4/23/2018

Jose
Absolutely delicious. Character and flavor. It's so hard to get an ethiopian coffee wrong!
3/20/2018

Krishnaraj
My favorite coffee so far. I had a similar Sidamo Ardi at CoffeeCon and this is close to that. Definitely fruity with lots of berry flavor and slightly nutty. Would like to try more like this.
3/14/2018

leora
Too dark, burnt
1/24/2018

Mark
Really good in a v60 with typical ratios/grind.
12/25/2017

Justin
favorite so far!
12/23/2017

Rachel
Amazing!!! I really enjoyed this coffee! The flavors exploded in this coffee! One of my favorite coffees so far!
8/5/2017

Bhavish
This coffee was the best coffee I've gotten from Mistobox. Balanced flavor, nice sweet aroma, and great overall taste. Will definitely buy again!
6/22/2017

Chuck
Do like. The two Sidamo Ardi coffees I've gotten in the Mistobox experience have been by far my favorites.
6/16/2017

Gener
It's been a while since I had a juicy cup of coffee since most of the previous ones were bold or balanced. I enjoy the light mouthfeel and the fruity and chocolate flavors of this coffee. Ethiopian coffees are becoming one of my favorites.
6/8/2017

Benjamin
Thanks for this :) The blueberry notes were really prevalent for the first 20-30 minutes after brew. Later in the day it turned super citrusy which was delicious as well, but so different from the berry!
5/4/2017

Rick
Excellent, very smooth and does not leave a bitting or bitter taste.
4/20/2017

Julie
I absolutely loved this coffee-- my favorite to-date that I've received so far through Mistobox. The notes of blueberries were so pleasant and truly made this roast memorable.
4/18/2017

Paul
Very juicy with notes of strawberry and chocolate. Really enjoyed this cup.
4/11/2017

Xiao
Nice chocolate taste with some fruity tones.
4/11/2017

shimon
Really nice and balanced flavor. Lots of depth. Would like it to have slightly higher brighter notes. Minor drawback. Somewhat muddy flavor at times
3/29/2017

Imtiazuddin
Love this coffee. It starts with a chocolate note and finishes with a citrus taste. Syrupy which i like a lot.
3/29/2017

Sim
I didn't like this much - I have tried 2 different brewing techniques on the Technivorm as well as adjusting the grind size in order to bring out the elusive chocolate flavor so that the intense citrus/fruity tart flavors will be more balanced and not overpowering. I have also tried using Kalita Wave 155 which usually works well with light and bright coffee. I definitely did not like this coffee as much as the last coffee pick. The aftertaste had a hint of tart rhubarb which I did not enjoy and it lingered. If you like bright citrus flavored coffee, you will love this coffee.
3/26/2017

Kristopher
I was excited for this coffee because I've previously really enjoyed MadCap's Ardi. However, this coffee is quite different. It is less juicy than the MadCap Ardi. It is definitely smooth and chocolately, but lacks a fruity burst.
3/22/2017

Logan
Less flavor than I would like
3/5/2017

Adam
Much better than the first one. It may have been slightly lighter of a bean than she typically likes, but much better direction. Her favorite flavor she used to add was hazelnut.
3/3/2017

Judson
My favorite bean of all time ... probably forever.
2/25/2017

Paul and Peggy
This coffee is as bad as the first one was good. Very bland tasting.
2/14/2017

Robert
This tasted a bit metallic and lighter than I expected.
2/13/2017

Thomas
This coffee was a bit bold for my taste. Depending on how we brewed it we found it had a more or less syrupy taste. I found that I was not drinking all of my cups of coffee, which is rare for me!
1/25/2017

Hayley
I prefer my previous coffee. This one is a bit too acidic for my taste, but I appreciate the flavor notes.
1/24/2017

Hayleigh
I love the richness of this one. The chocolate really comes through and it's super smooth. I'm not getting any bitterness.
1/15/2017

Taylor
The berry flavors were very strong in this coffee. I enjoyed the berry and chocolate notes of the coffee. The downside was I found the cup to be roasty and a lot fuller whereas I think the brighter coffees are more pleasing.
1/14/2017

Damon
Papaya, mango, lemon curd, gentle spices.
12/19/2016

Ben
i enjoyed the fruity notes.
12/3/2016

Kenya
This coffee seemed to have somewhat of vinegar taste that lingered after a few sips. I did not experience and fruity or chocolate flavors.
12/3/2016

Charles
Really like the citrus levels of this coffee. Big flavor without being overpowering.
11/19/2016

Trevor
So yummy. Better than previous
11/17/2016

Paul
Strong scent of berries. Strong and complex flavor profile front loaded with blueberry and strawberry.
11/2/2016

Alexander
Overall we really enjoyed this one. Before even tasting the coffee, we could smell the strawberry jam and chocolate. Upon tasting, the notes of chocolate shadowed the other flavors a little more than the scent had hinted at but still, it was a delicious cup. Definitely loving the Ethiopian coffees you are sending me!
11/2/2016

Kevin
I hate to not love this Ethiopian coffee but this one just isn't one of my favorites. I'm sure some will love it and some will not. I personally don't care for the sour aftertaste and it doesn't bloom much which means it isn't fresh.
10/29/2016

Israel
Definitely into the Ethiopian one.
10/12/2016

Ross
A little bitter for me
10/11/2016

Tiffany
Nope
10/10/2016

Haley
I really like this choice for me! EXTREMELY smooth, fruity nuances, and tastes delicious in a side-by-side comparison with other coffees. Nice aftertaste. The bit of dry sour acidity is the only bit I didn't enjoy. I might like to try a deeper dried fruit taste in a coffee to compare.
10/10/2016

Steve
Best coffee I had from Misto Box thus far. I've already suggested this blend to others. The mouth-feel and body on this coffee was phenomenal. The fruity esters were strong, but well balanced.
9/22/2016

Cameron
Very nice berry flavor with chocolate notes also present. Light body, juicy mouthfeel, present but pleasant acidity. Brewed with v60 and chemex...preferred this through the V60.
9/21/2016

Erin
Super fruity and not overly-acidic. Tasted a bit aged. Natural processed coffees aren't my go-to, but I like them on occasion. Enjoyable but not my favorite.
9/21/2016

Adam
Loved it!
9/13/2016

Alexander
I can certainly appreciate what this coffee is trying to do. It's light, sour, and smells of intense fruity notes with light beans; however, it's a miss for me.The French Roast Fair Trade Organic you previously sent was more in the direction I'm trying to go. I know I mentioned before that I wanted a more complex coffee, and you certainly sent one, but light brews simply aren't enjoyable for me. With this Ethiopia Sidamo Ardi, I wasn't sure if I was drinking coffee or a fruity hot tea. I wasn't able to pick up on any chocolate notes, but could tell there was plenty of fruit notes.Let's stay on the dark side (haha) of the coffee world. Brews with smoky, bitter, roasty, dark chocolate, or even one fruit note (not a fruit basket like this Ethiopia) would be more along the lines of what I'm interested in.Thanks!
9/12/2016

Shao-Yun
Amazing coffee. Very aromatic with a significant blueberry taste.
9/6/2016

Vincent
I liked this one a lot. Was really really slow getting here took over a week so had bad opinion going in but when it came to just the coffee it was pretty delicious. Even throughout flavor.
8/26/2016

Jason
Earthy and great taste. Doesn't taste bitter or have much acidity I thought it will.
7/22/2016

Duane
Very good, smooth coffee. Some acidic notes.
7/9/2016

David
Exceptional
6/30/2016

Timothy
Very nice and flavorful and bold, even though it is a medium roast and I usually prefer dark. This expands my horizons. Thanks.
6/29/2016

Gordon
Very drinkable for pour over. A little acidic/fruity, but a nice change.

6/29/2016

Daryl
Very good coffee, slightly mild
6/28/2016

KINSER
Lightly roasted, yet not overpowered with citrus notes. As espresso via a semiautomatic machine, it has a nice subdued brightness and is kind of toasty, a mild flavor overall, which is enjoyable however leaves something to be desired in the deep chocolately notes found in a darker roast, which to me simply makes it more of a morning coffee than an evening one. Makes a solid cappuccino. Excited to try with other brew methods.
6/20/2016

Jennifer
Very good coffee, a little on the lighter side. I find myself using more coffe to get it to the strength I want. Similar in flavor to the first coffee we received and while good, I would rank this 2nd.
6/16/2016

Kyle
Fantastic. We really enjoyed this coffee.
6/7/2016

Jon
Sadly we really didn't love this coffee. It felt much more aromatically muted than the others, and much more earthy/smoky. We prefer something with brighter acid, more citrus notes and less of that leather/tar profile.
5/22/2016

Alix
The flavors in this coffee were too subtle for my taste. I was a much bigger fan of Costa Rica El Trapiche. The acidity levels were spot on though.
3/26/2016

Samuel
Lack of distinguishing and consistent characteristics. Flavors were very subtle and only the above average acidity kept this cup afloat. 77/100
3/21/2016

Derek
I enjoyed the fuller bodied, medium roast. But there was too much chocolate covered strawberries flavor.
3/20/2016

Eric
I really liked this Ethiopian. The fruitiness is balanced and not too overwhelming. The dark berry and chocolate notes come through nicely.
2/23/2016

Ryan
Love the dark berry - flavorful but not overbearing.
2/16/2016

Mark
3 1/2 stars. The fruitiness is a bit flat, and it lacks sweetness, but overall it's very good and pleasant to drink.
1/25/2016

Grayson
Too acidic
1/18/2016

jiye
very acidic, lacking in flavor. this was disappointing.
1/17/2016

Wanyun
Not a big fan of the almond aroma. Acidity is acceptable
10/20/2015

Steven
Mostly strawberry notes with hints of blueberry and a nice short chocolaty finish. Nice, balanced, light-medium body cup, liked it best on V60 and iced really brought out the fruity flavors
9/9/2015

James
Well balanced, fruity with lingering sweet chocolate
8/29/2015

Jacob
Some of the best coffee I've ever had! Really like the fruity notes with the little bit of chocolate.
8/26/2015

Ryan
Strong scent of blueberry though not as fruity tasting as some of the other Ethiopia varieties I've tried. Good chocolate taste and strong body fitting the profile of coffees I like.
8/25/2015

Sandi
While I'm enjoying the ripe blueberry and strawberry notes, I could do without the chocolate. It's not a coffee that I'd crave.
8/10/2015

Matthew
When put through the grinder I get a nice aroma of sweet blueberries. In the cup there is a blueberry acidity and nice sweet chocolate finish. This is the first time I've had this coffee so I'm going to put it through all my other brewing devices and see what tasting notes develop.
7/24/2015

Madison
Love this coffee. I love Ethiopia coffee, the roast and flavor was perfect. Definitely one of my favorite coffees now.
7/17/2015

Kevin
Only OK... not a big fan of the chocolate flavors
7/12/2015

Elizabeth
In my opinion, this is a light to medium bodied coffee with very light aroma and a very fruity taste. It's probably a little light for our everyday coffee. On the spectrum between this coffee and April's dark roast, we would prefer to be somewhere in between (leaning toward the Tanzanian roast from April).
6/16/2015

Zachary & Cherise
Not a big fan, it was too fruity for us. Not terrible, just not our preference.
6/2/2015

Chris
too bright or acidic for me
5/19/2015

Rex
While I found this coffee great, I would have preferred something with a little more body.
5/11/2015

Daniel
Right up my alley. Fruity, chocolate dipped berry tones. Nice sweet cup. Also great with cream and sugar.
5/1/2015

Jeff
This was amazing! I have always enjoyed coffees from Ethiopia, fruity and delicious!
4/29/2015

Jeff
Love the fruity flavors
4/20/2015

Robert
Appreciate the blueberry/ cherry tones
4/15/2015

Brooke
Incredibly fruity and chocolatey. Juicy mouthfeel. It would be 5 stars, however the packaging doesn't list the roast date. The only date I could find was what looked like a 'best by' date.
4/4/2015

Joel
Loved it!
3/25/2015

Justin
Wasn't great.
3/25/2015

Joe
Did not like the flavor at all. Tried it w/ AeroPress and pour over. Just not good.
2/26/2015

Sean
Love the hint of blueberry.
2/21/2015

Amber
Very good coffee, just a little too fruity for my personal preference.
2/16/2015

Amber
Very good coffee, just a little too fruity for my personal preference.
2/16/2015

Shara + Andy
A bit too fruit forward. Overwhelming taste of berries.
