I rarely throw out coffee, but unfortunately did with this one. It had no taste. Basically felt like drinking warm water. Very disappointing and hoping it was maybe just a random bad batch.

Good at first, spoiled very quickly even when stored properly. Brewed with a Moka Pot - first few batches were phenomenal, but it's been getting more and more sour/bitter.

No matter the grounds to water ratio this coffee had a surprisingly weak body. If you like milky, caffeinated water - this is the coffee for you!

Smooth but unappealing. Very subtle toasted almond on the front end, but smooths out and leaves nothing on the back end. Not a bad cup, not a great cup. Too much trying to be a crowd pleaser.

This is a DARK roast. I ordered this coffee from the brew queue after setting my filters for “medium” roasted blends. I was bummed when it arrived and right on the bag it says “dark.” I opened the bag and found oily beans. I assumed I had made a mistake so I went back to my brew queue and set the filer for “medium” roasts and this bag again populated in the queue. Do not order this bag unless you like dark roasts.

Rating: 3.5/5. We thought it was just ok. Definitely an improvement over what we usually drink (whatever is the cheapest at our local grocery store). We definitely would prefer something stronger to really perk us up in the morning.

A smooth, easy drinking selection. This is definitely one of the best coffees I've received via MistoBox. There was a subtle nuttiness in the after taste which was actually quite nice. A really enjoyable coffee!

Solid nutty and roasty flavor! Very very smooth and drinkable. Why not 5 stars? Not as strong with the fresh nutty notes as the Day Tripper. But overall a very solid coffee.

This blend is hitting almost all the notes it described. It is on the slightly darker roast, a little bit in-your-face, but I do like it in the morning to help wake me up.

I like this one a lot. It's got a rich, clean flavor that is unmarred by the muddiness that some coffees have, which I can only describe as the taste equivalent of static. I can taste the chocolate, but if I had to give it one adjective I'd use bright. Delicious, too.

This is a flavor profile that I would prefer to avoid. My first cup had very strong nutty flavors that I would prefer to avoid at all costs. I ended up giving half of this bag to a friend who prefers this style coffee. Please avoid these moving forwards

excellent, very well-balanced - dominant dark/bitter flavor with a bit of a sweet aftertaste. also the bag is probably the best I've seen - 'traditional' shape coffee bag, generous amount of material above the metal band (easy to cut/open and still fold over the band), slightly wider body than most bags (large opening, easy to scoop), well-positioned vent hole, tough material that's slick and doesn't bunch up.

This was definitely a great cup of coffee. I could taste a lot of the flavors that are advertised and the coffee leaves you coming back for me. I'm excited to continue to try similar coffees like this one. Great pick Seth! I would like to try something with a smoky/roasty taste.

Was a little darker then I typically like, but it was good and I added a little coconut oil to balance it out for my liking. I also mixed the last of our beans from our bag of Kickapoo and this one in my grinder and it ended up being a great blend. The Kickapoo was too light for us and this was slightly too bold.

This was, by far, the best coffee we've received so far. Excellent bold flavor, the aroma and roastiness of the beans were evident, and this even exceeds the Dillanos Special Dark. This is the only coffee I've ever tasted that purports to have chocolate notes that I could actually taste chocolate. Of anything we've had from Mistobox so far, this was our favorite! We were pleased with this!

Description wise this is the perfect coffee - sugar, dark chocolate, and nutty flavors - but the flavor profile is not as strong as I would've liked. I still enjoyed it and would definitely drink it again (and anything with a similar flavor profile).

I felt the initial bite which is excellent and good body but the end note was too floral (maybe not the right word) and sweet for me. I like something that has a stronger body and a little less of the sweet ending. I don't want to shudder but I do want it be distinct This coffee also brewed a bit lighter than I had hoped. I use the pour over method.

Visually, this coffee was not as dark as I typically prefer when I look for a good dark roast; however, it managed to bring a unique taste to the table that I could not quite place. It was somewhere between a good medium and a good dark roast. This coffee grew on me a bit more each day. Very interesting roast for sure.

This is a little light as far as dark roasts go, but it's very easy to drink. I've shared with people who prefer light roasts, and they all like it. Almost syrupy, this coffee is indeed quite nutty with a slight hint of caramel.

The description says "simple and straightforward", which is exactly what I wanted. This is a good old mouthful of flavor that pleases. I would say it has an emphasis on the "midrange", not as much on sweetness or burnt flavors. I like that, but want to explore some other blends as well.

This coffee was a perfectly timed flavor. With the holidays cuisine including heavy flavors and food, this coffee provided a light change each morning. While it is an intense roast, I found the chocolate hints and the brown sugar front appealing and a nice shift.
