This is OK. I'd need another tasting to see if it varies much, but this seemed like a solid 7 on a scale of 1-10.

To me, it’s a good baseline to measure others against. This bean doesn’t try to impress you. It’s exactly what you might expect of a traditional espresso bean. Make it right and it will sing. Described as medium-dark but falls closer to the dark side of the spectrum while still holding onto hints of sweetness and richness which balances the bitterness that stays in the pallet for some time after each sip, extending the life of the cup - I can’t quite place the sweet and rich tastes yet. High in quality, a true espresso bean.

This coffee is excellent for Lattes. Brewed exactly as labeled with 20 grams in and 36 grams out in 28 secs. It has a very pleasing, full flavored and balanced taste. Unfortunately for me, it must be a Robusta bean because the caffeine content sent my wife into orbit. If you want a high caffeine, full flavored lattes, this coffee is a great option.

It was smooth - however, I am not sure we liked it as much as the first shipment. We do like the medium roasted coffees as they are not near as sharp.

Smells amazing but tastes thin. I can detect the fruit but it doesn't seem rich or chocolately to me.

It was really easy to pull a great shot with this espresso blend. I started with the brew ratio from the packaging and tweaked things from there, which made dialing things in very easy. A shot of this straight up has lots of chocolate flavor and a very rich body with lots of crema, and I noticed most of the fruit flavor on the finish at the end of the shot. This coffee also makes a really smooth iced Americano as well.

I really like this coffee. My favorite thing was the suggested dose on the package, it really helped me quickly dial in and i tasted all of their tasting notes. It's darker than what I'm hoping to find.

I loved the Klatch down to the last shot. The flavor is rich, bold, and bittersweet. Drank with 4oz. of steamed milk (cortada). Will get this again in the future.

Love this one, and definitely high on the chocolatey/creamy scale. Perhaps some hints of a dried cherry flavor poking through at times as well.

Very smooth, dessert-like, tasty espresso. Tried it with an espresso-like Aeropress recipe by itself, and as an Americano and thoroughly enjoyed how smooth and tasty it was.

As advertised, milk chocolate and fruit notes =). My portafilter can only accommodate 17g instead of the suggested 20g so maybe that's why the flavors are a bit more muted. That being said, this coffee is pretty gentle and would be easy for someone just starting to drink espresso to get into it. All the shots pull beautifully in sharp contrast to the coffee I had sampled just prior (no splashing, yay!). It was really hard to pull a bad espresso- very forgiving compared to some others. I get more fines with this one though, so best consumed immediately after making. It doesn't make a terrible "drink later" coffee, but the fines do cause the coffee to become noticeably more bitter over time (ie taking to work).
