We loved this coffee. Very well balanced, smooth & full bodied. I usually use an Aeropress, however we brewed this in our coffee pot and it was wonderful.

Decent. Not my favorite, but would drink again. I would be willing to try other light to med roasts from these guys. (M: Drip Bonavista, 21g coffee to 365g water, 100g H/H, 7g sugar).

Another amazing coffee! So delicious. I am just finishing it today and I'm sad it's gone. Nice, rich flavor. Not acidic. Brewed with aeropress and drink with just a bit of half and half. Thank you! I am loving Mistobox.

Not bad. Its a little too nutty for me and I feel like it would be better with cream and sweetener. Since I prefer black coffee this one is not ideal for me.

This roast profile was similar to the one in prior shipment. Initial aroma and taste was pleasant but at the end of sip it fell flat and acidic. Still looking for that full-bodied mellow flavor throughout the whole experience.

First try this AM, Kalita pour over, black. Really nice coffee with lots of depth of flavor, easy to enjoy without dairy or sugar. Looking forward to dialing it in a bit more over the bag.

Thought this was excellent. I was able to taste all the notes indicated. I brewed with a Breville precision brewer with a gold filter. Made sure to filter the water and also grind right before use. Grind setting on Breville grinder is 38 do you think I shouldn’t adjust size or is it just right? Also any thoughts on paper v gold filter?

Good coffee, over all. I struggled to bring out the notes consistently, but when I successfully brewed it, the honey was VERY distinct. Even in smell. I don't know if I'd buy it repeatedly, but it was definitely worthwhile to go through the full bag.

Definitely feel we like a 'full bodied' medium blend. Enjoying this selection much better than the last 'Fitzroy blend' selection.

Great initial flavor. Tandem coffees seem to have a similar nuttiness in each blend whichI like. Tastes like a standard medium roast that could always make a great go-to when you're looking for something easy to drink.

A very good blend. The seasonal Ethiopian really comes through but the Colombian balances it out well. Makes a good chemex brew, I wouldn't want a roast to go any darker than this though.

The cherry is the clearest note in this one. Combined with the notes of burnt honey and dark chocolate, it starts sweet but finishes on the bitter side. Might not be a go-to, but it's good enough for a change of pace every now and then.

I liked this one better than the Method Blend. I didn't think was bitter or sour, but maybe a little bit of a burnt flavor. The beans were lighter than the ones I bought before joining this service.

I found the Stoker roast to be a full-bodied coffee in the AeroPress, but a little lacking in my morning daily flat white. Since my daily driver is an espresso drink with milk, it did not "cut" through the milk as a few others have.

I quite like this one. Seems to have more a refined taste? It doesn't seem to have overpowering flavors like the previous blend. I think I prefer this kind of taste but I'm still not sure yet.

I really enjoyed this coffee. It's flavors weren't over the top, but still very present. I'd call it an intentional coffee without being 'invasive' or in-your-face. I think maybe there's some chocolately honey stuff going on here? Whatever it is I could go for some more of this type of coffee. The package says 'kinda dark' and I appreciated that. I wouldn't say it was very dark but I like to see how different roasters view their coffees. The Stoker blend didn't have any of those overtly tobacco or charcoaly bits hanging in there that I associate with darker roasts. Okay - so in terms of methods I brewed these as follows Kalita Wave 155 (1:16 ratio), Aeropress (19 grams and fill it up inverted - press around 1:50 for 40 seconds), and Chemex with a healthy 1:14 ratio. The Chemex was my favorite approach and I used both Spring water and Brita filtered water (don't judge - it worked out just fine). So again - this is the type of coffee I tend to orient myself and return to. It was really good and I look forward to more coffee along these lines. I'm also fine with berryish, dried fruit, undertones but not as much as the Chocolate nutty honey/toffee coffees. Thanks Samantha! You're already dialing it in so well. Much appreciated.

This coffee is growing on me. It's a little darker than I'm used to and the flavor doesn't linger as long as I'd like but I like the chocolate notes and sweet flavor.

If the last bag could be an actual single origin, or something that isn't a blend of coffees, that would be awesome. I am much more pleased with the Tandem Coffee Roasters bag of coffee this time around, though! Great find Mistobox team!

Lighter bean than I'm used to. Flavor was not very interesting or complex. Seemed a bit weak; felt like I had to use much more than normal to get a full bodied cup. I did like that it was smooth and not bitter.

We loved this coffee! Just strong enough to get us moving and the flavor was awesome. The chocolate notes were definitely noticeable and complimented the other flavors perfectly without being overwhelming. So delicious! It smelled amazing and I found myself really looking forward to my morning cup :) Definitely one of our favorites!
