This coffee was okay. I decided to brew with my French press to add body because it did not have a lot going on in regards to flavor. I liked that it was smooth with almost no acidity I just wish it would have more spice or some stronger notes to add more to the coffee overall. I don’t like to add anything to my coffee because I like the coffee to speak for itself.

Smooth and mild with a pleasant fruitiness up front and ending with a soft bitterness. Cafe Carmelita is an easy drinking cup that doesn't sacrifice complexity of flavor to achieve approachability.

Really enjoyed this bag. Nothing in particular stands out. It's just a well-balanced, dark-side-of-medium roast coffee.

This coffee was good but the hints of caramel had a bit of a weird taste when the coffee was prepared black. However, the taste was definitely elevated when creamer was added. While I would drink this coffee again, the other bags of beans tasted better so far.

Well I made it with Cleaver 350/21 and Kalita Wave and Gabi dripper 300/18. It's a very pleasant coffee. Almost too pleasant. I found myself wanting a fuller/richer more pronounced flavor. It's like it almost took off into "wow that's good", but just missed it (if that makes any sense)

This coffee has a great flavor. I can drink this black, which is usually hard for me to do. It isn’t bitter at all and has a bright flavor to it.

The taste was a little darker than expected. Still smooth tho and full bodied. I was however disappointed to discover I only received a half a bag. 12oz on the side seems a little less than expected. Maybe I thought I would get a full pound.

no matter how I brewed this one, it was bitter. I tried pour over and french press with varying amounts of coffee ground with anywhere from a 15:1 to a 17:1 ratio of water to coffee. This one was not for me. Sorry.

I had this one wrong! It was the previous coffee we did not like! This one is not at all bitter and has a really nice flavor. I do think I made it too weak though!

I love it- you nailed my flavor! Beans were freshly roasted. This is about the only coffee you have sent me that I felt like I got freshly roasted beans. I did love this coffee. Can someone email me and talk to me about how you can take care of my concerns. I emailed Samantha but have not heard back. If I do not get some kind of response I will discontinue the service.

My first impression was very positive. Loved it! It was just what I was looking for. I liked the bean darkness, the strong flavor/blend. It was smooth and bold.
