This is the Decaf Chicago House Blend brought to you by Passion House Coffee Roasters. Who says decaf coffee has to be flavorless? This coffee is roasted to a medium roast to retain the sweetness and complexity of the original coffees. This coffee is balanced with notes of dark chocolate and caramel.

It was good, reminded me of donut shop coffee. It was a nice change of pace. In general I like darker roasts better.

Mistobox's notes are different from the roaster who correctly advises this has "Melon" notes. I am not a fan of melon.

Well, I'm trying to enjoy it. It smelled promising when I opened the package but tasted like ground nuts. I did not taste any chocolate or caramel notes. It is very blonde and dry. It does not leave any residue in the electric coffee grinder. I prefer a full - bodied roast. Maybe it's the bean?

Struggled to dial in the right grind on this one. Liked the chocolate notes, but didn't find enough other complexity. Good, but not my favorite.

The only word I can come up with to describe how this smells is “scrumptious”. Really good body, and lovely for a decaf!

Unique flavor combination that has the burnt espresso flavor I like with an earthy twist and a slight hint of melon.

Using my typical pour over methods I think a coarser grind brought out better character in this coffee. This is a darker roast so it is more bitter than other selections.

I enjoy how smooth this coffee is. I don't get much caramel taste but i do get a hint of chocolate. Looking forward to trying another roaster.

I enjoyed it but probably not as much as the Decaf Fool's Gold. I enjoyed the richer, deeper flavors but it tasted more like what I can get at a local grocery store.

Taste not as full as Fool's Gold. It is better than Decaf Pike Place, but this seems almost flat compared to Fool's Gold.

My husband is a 3, and I am a 2. Do not taste the notes mentioned in the story (chocolate, caramel) and would describe it as "earthy"

I'm guessing I don't love decaf coffee!! I was trying hard to, but it's seemed very lacking to me. I'm not sure if it's the process, but it seems weak to me. I will have to research what type of coffee I seem to enjoy better.

I did not pick up on any of the "notes" mentioned - nor the sweetness. Just not for me. Preferred the prior Espresso Parisi. But please keep new selections coming. Thank you.

This was too mild for me, and although I can appreciate the lightness, I much prefer a bolder and darker roast. I am going to mix this with a Sumatran to get more flavor. I would prefer a single roast rather than a blended roast that is not bold.

Loved this one. Has depth, and a rich, sweet caramel flavor. Also makes great iced coffee. yum.

I do not care for this coffee. There is a flavor in here that I have had in other coffees as well that I just don't like. It is a very distinct flavor and I wish I knew how to describe it so that we could avoid it in other choices. Its like when the coffee first hits your mouth it has a really dry or dirty taste. Sorry that probably isn't helpful enough to figure out what the last is I don't like. We will keep trying.
