I liked the flavor of this coffee, it was not to acidic/fruity and tasted balanced to me. My only critique is that it was a little mellow, but that could have been the way I was brewing it.

The packaging was intesely cool and was designed amazingly. The coffee itself was good, but was less bold than expected. The flavor combination was very good as well.

Wonderfully full body and well balanced. Very clean in both aroma and fragrance and no strong aftertaste. I could taste the hints of dark chocolate and nutty.
However, my tastes lean more to the medium roast, chocolate, and fruity (ex. cherry or coconut). I have updated my preferences to reflect these changes.

Very smooth and silky. Smell of XO sauce and dark chocolate. Taste of molasses, creamy dark cocoa. Aftertaste of savory nuts. Yet not enough of a punch for me!

This is a good coffee, nothing negative to say about it! I really like the story of the company Alma. After this I would like to start drifting towards Medium Roasts than just Darks.

I really enjoyed this coffee. I specifically liked noting the specific varieties exclusive to Honduras (Lempira and IHCAFE90). This was a nice, smooth cup. Not an oily dark roast (as I often am drawn to) but balanced and delicious with enough mouthfeel that I know I am drinking coffee.

After trying 6 different coffees from Mistobox this was by far my favorite. It is so balanced and smooth, rich and full bodied. I would wake up exited to have a cup- which speaks to how good it is. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this dark roast. There are no notes of burned, charred, etc. The "dark" comes more from the flavors themselves -- rich, full-bodied flavor notes.

This is a good coffee. If you like iced coffee/espresso, the flavor notes change significantly when cold. Warm or cold, it’s a solid coffee all around.

Pleasant, mild, light, this coffee is polite. Something I would serve to guests staying over who like a mild-mannered coffee. Me personally I like loud, in your face toastiness, roastiness, boldness, richness, and this coffee is too tame to meet my personal preference. I wouldn't call this a dark roast at all, I would hesitate to call it a medium roast. For what it is, it's very nice and mild; there are no off notes or off flavors, just not my cup of joe personally.

Delicious but I do not have a refined taste. I'm looking for strong flavors that can stand out on their own. I can taste the chocolate but do not really taste the nuts.
I prefer milk chocolate over dark chocolate. For the next coffee, can we try a medium roast or dark roast without an overwhelming taste of chocolate?

This is the platonic ideal of coffee. Chocolatey, sweet, not bitter and not too fruity/acidic. 20.5g in, 40 out, with a 5s pre-infusion.

A bit too smooth for my taste, maybe a little less chocolate would be preferred. It does make for an excellent iced coffee (I make a french press in the morning and have what's left over ice in the afternoon). I look forward to next month's.

This was an earthy coffee. I needed to brew it strong to get the full flavor, and once I did, I enjoyed the bag. The beans were drier than some other coffees, but they still produced a nice, slightly oily finish.

Chocolatey, toasty, nutty. In a subtle way it reminds me of a s'more. I felt like some of the complexity I got from the dry aroma went away after brewing, but still a really good, well-balanced cup. Brewed with a French press.

Maybe I've been forever corrupted by cheaper store bought French roast, but it's hard for me to go from my oily smoky goodness to a more tempered roast like this one. I wanted to like it more than I think I did. It's just hard for me to enjoy a bean that's remotely acidic. Tried a few extraction methods (press and stovetop) - prefer press but sometimes do stovetop for volume.
