Description
This is the Good Vibes Brazil brought to you by Greater Goods Coffee Roasters. This Full Natural Catuai variety was grown 1,200 meters above sea level by Fazenda D'Barbosa in the Cerrado Mineiro region of Brazil. After harvest, fresh coffee cherry fruit is delivered to the farm’s processing center and laid to dry in parabolic drying beds. Parchment is turned frequently to ensure even drying. You can expect Good Vibes every time you brew this one up.

This was so-so. The peanut butter and jelly profile is intriguing but I am just not crazy about fruit flavored coffees - personal preference.

The first word that comes to mind is mild. There just wasn’t a lot of flavor here. The coffee was smooth and was just ok in my opinion.

I was really excited about this one but it turned out to be a disappointment. It’s not rich enough to really enjoy the cocoa and peanut butter notes. When I tried brewing it much stronger (1:10) in the Aeropress (recommended on the roaster’s website) the balance was lost and I got an acidic cup with the dried cherry completely overpowering. The 1:16.67 ratio I was using before had more balance but was a bit thin.
However, after figuring out that I prefer a finer grind with my subsequent coffee, Forecast Pedal Pusher, I wonder if this coffee would have been better at 10 clicks on the Timemore Chestnut C3 and maybe higher water temp.

Dark chocolate and natural roasted peanuts. Roast level keeps the fruit notes at bay. This should please most coffee drinkers without being to assertive in any flavor direction.

This Coffee had an amazing nutty flavor with strong notes of chocolate. By far my most favorite coffee in a while.

Full bodied, great tasting and balanced without any fuss. Never had to fight any acidity or bitterness. Didn't have the let it rest, it was great the first day. Nothing terribly unique in the flavor profile.

This was my favorite so far. The flavor notes really came through, and it wasn't super dark/chocolatey the way many of the others have been.

Didn't get any peanut butter or dried cherry notes, but it produced a good solid cup of coffee. Reasonably bold taste, but not bitter. Brewed usually as as an 2:1 Americano using a Breville BES840.

Coffee is as described. Full bodied and with delicious nutty, cocoa, and cherry notes. Fantastic by itself or with cream. Love it!

This was okay; my partner didn't like it as much as I did. The dried cherry was slightly medicinal and it was somewhat acidic.

Absolutely wonderful. The dried cherry notes absolutely come through on top of the peanut butter. A bag of trail mix in my coffee.

Tastes very nutty when made with Aeropress. When made with moka pot, the nuttiness is weaker but its aroma smells strongly of almonds.

Quite good. A little sweet and not as smooth as the Driftless Organic Blend from Wonderstate. Feels similar on the tongue to a wine with lots of tannins (which I don’t want in my coffee).
