This medium dark espresso has a dried tart cherry acidity, cocoa body and a bittersweet chocolate finish.
This is listed on bag as Dark Roast. It is not a dark roast in any sense. It's actually kinda light. So In that perspective it's a downer. If you disregard the label, it's a pretty tasty coffee. Nothing jumps out as too special though.

We’re not fans, didn’t get any fruit or brightness out of it. The acid notes weren’t great. To earthy and dark.
This is some of the best coffee I've ever had! The cherry and chocolate notes balance each other out so well, I truly felt like I was drinking liquid chocolate covered cherries! I will order it again for sure!
Great crema, velvety
Good coffee but I think the roast didn't work for us. Too light.
I enjoyed this when making it into a latte, but I did not like the flavor when it was just a shot of espresso. It was sweet in the latte, but almost watery by itself.

Too acidic for home espresso even after several adjustments. This was much better suited for drip coffee.
Not over-roasted like the last couple of shipments. Not the richest flavor, though. Good not great.
Too light and fruity and acidic for my tastes. This would be good for pour over or someone with a flat burr grinder trying to extract a fruit flavor out of the cup for espresso. The beans were not able to produce very much crema, almost as if they were stale.

Versatile and delicious. Used it as an espresso, americano, drip and all had different complexity but generally chocolate and a bit of caramel.
I really liked the fruity notes but it goes bitter really fast and had a bit of an aftertaste bite. I prefer the coffees with more of a smooth finish.

What I would call close to a 'classic Italian' style espresso... The robust chocolate notes are great. The touch of acidity isn't what I'm personally looking for, but it makes a good, default, familiar espresso. Punches through milk strongly.

It was okay not very exciting, however for a dark roast it was one of the better ones, not bitter at all.
