This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Passion House Coffee Roasters will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
This is the Night Moves Blend brought to you by Passion House Coffee Roasters. The Night Moves blend is a deeper roast that appeals to those who love drinking medium-dark roasted coffee but without the bitterness they might expect. We think this coffee is bold, rich and comforting, with notes of chocolate and caramel.
Not bad but flavors could be stronger. No bitterness is nice
weird aftertaste idk
Had a good smooth flavor
Absolutely am loving this blend and it’s from a Chicago roaster which is also awesome! I look forward to having this cup of coffee in the morning and though it’s billed as a dark roast it feels more on the medium side. Super well balanced and smooth.
Great brew. Smooth, caramelesque with a backbone of chocolate-toffee. Balanced with a hint of bittersweet note that are accentuated with the addition of milk or cream.
Too dark / bitter for my tastes
It was ok. Not sure why just not my favorite
It was not as dark as I like it.
This did not brew well, so hard to tell anything about the flavors.
I usually don’t like dark roasts but this brewed beautifully and was not bitter!
I really enjoyed this.
Nothing exciting. Smooth cup
Really tasty! Chocolatey and rich with a full body, plus just the right amount of acidity. Seemed to get lost in delivery, as have others from this roaster.
I made several cups of this over chocolate and this blend complemented the chocolate taste without disappearing. Really enjoyed this one.
Loved this one. Great flavor.
A little too bold for me
Very close to 5 stars, very smooth when drinking black, any bite comes from the fact it is a slightly darker roast which is expected. Love the caramel notes which were very strong, chocolate was present but not as much so. The description is right, very little bitterness which is surprising.
Like a Starbucks dark roast
Pretty good, a little bitter for my taste.
This one took some tuning to dial in. I liked the shots once I did. Definitely stands up well in milk drinks.
Liked it, not as dark as I was expecting in a Dark Roast
I liked it but not as much as the Tony's Upland. One of the cold brew we made came out a little sour.
Very good - not too sweet, not to f ruity. Hubby still would like bit more full bodied.
I liked this coffee a lot, it was rich without being bitter and I liked that it was flavorful but not fruity.
Lives up to the description, has the boldness of dark, without the bitter.
Loved the rich bold flavor and chocolate notes
The taste of Caramel was slightly strong but it was a really good tasting coffee
Very acidic and it upset my stomach.
Really enjoying this one. Super smooth and rich. Great with cream and sugar or just on its own!
Had trouble getting consistent brews with my v60 first brew tasted perfect
Touch of caramel without any bitter aftertaste.
This is a great compromise between my preference for a darker roast and my husband’s preference for something lighter and more mild. This was very smooth and nice with great flavor.
Love it, the stone fruit is unusual but very good.
Tasted more floral notes
on the lighters side of a dark roast, no bitterness, almost to the wow factor but not quite there
I really liked this dark roast. No surprises on the flavor profile, which might be bit boring for some people. Tasted great with milk. I used 19.2 gr with 25 gr of output in ˜30 sec.
Good roasting level but I didn't think the mix of flavors was as interesting as many of the other medium-dark roasts
Good, but strong!
The dark chocolate taste dominates with a hint of fruitiness on the back. The roast is a bit too dark for me, but overall I love it! Used an Aeropress for the brew. Would recommend!
I don’t usually like dark roast, but I brewed this weaker and enjoyed the flavor.
Too dark, acidic
I really like this one! Bold but not bitter and it has a great flavor.
As the description says, this has the bolder flavor of a darker roast but doesn't tread too far into bitterness. I think this lacked some of the complexity that I enjoyed in Soulmate from Alma Coffee, but was still very good.
Rich and bold!
My favorite so far!
super dark but yumy
Decent coffee but took large dose to get extraction I wanted.
For some reason, the way the grind is, it always overflows in my coffee pot. I will press it down as well. It's so fluffy!!! I love the flavor. But would like a denser grind? If that makes sense.
One of my favorites. Nothing in particular, just good all around. I guess I might prefer something more nutty if I'm being picky.
First sip before adding oat milk, I tasted caramel. It is not as bold as I was expecting. More of a medium roast. I brew it in a French press. Delicious!
The flavor was ok but it looked like it had beige wood chips in it. I have never seen this in any other coffee I've had. Please don't send again!
This one was was okay. Flavors were a little dull overall. Still, it was better than just about anything I have bought in a grocery store.
Enjoyed both black and with milk
Good but not particularly notable.
Too dark and roasty
Underlying fruit flavors that I didn't like as much.
solid notes. Also very good as a 24hr cold brew.
Really enjoyed the bold flavor, has more depth than previous coffee. Enjoyed both hot and cold.
Coffee was good, strong was good for a morning coffee
Could not get it to brew correctly, always came out sour
Beans used in a chemex 10cup - 45g medium grind w/ 650ml Distilled water
Tried to change grind - no effect
Much less roasty than I was expecting. Very good
Favorite one so far
Not a fan of this one - too dark. It tastes earthy to me in a way I really can't get behind.
This coffee is very good. The taste is very nice first thing in the morning. My only complaint about this particular roast is that when grinding it (burr grinder), it creates a lot of chaff that goes everywhere. And if it is dry in the house, it sticks to everything. When I resume my subscription, this one will not be a first choice.
This was darker than I usually drink but it was really good. I recommend it to anyone.
Our favorite thus far. Have requested it be sent again.
Too dark for my taste, I prefer medium.
Love this one!
Sometimes good, usually too many sour notes. Smells SO GOOD, actually more of a medium than a dark roast to my buds.
Very different. Fresh fruity flavors that I appreciated a lot
I really liked the robust flavors of this one.
Decent, maybe a little dark
Outstanding coffee, with rich notes of dark chocolate and caramel very pronounced. Smooth and creamy for a dark roast, bursting with flavor.
Hate dark roast...this tasted oily to me. Least fave out of all the ones sent me so far
Really good coffee. If I'm going to be critical, I'd say it could be richer -- it got bitter when I used more coffee -- and it had a hint of citrus that I'm not fond of.
not a strong flavor profile for me. it tasted watered down
Good coffee, but a little too light/blond (lighter than its name). Also prefer less chocolate hints.
Very acidic. Kind of sour. Best in very short aeropress steep time.
Nice richness and bold flavor without much bitterness
Took me a bit to dial it in but I have enjoyed this more than the first one.
Not a fan of dark roast usually. Tastes kind of burnt. This one is ok
Wonderful and balanced. Repeat? Mmmmm, maybe. So many great coffees on here.
Brenda & Larry
We didn't get this yet - I rated the wrong coffee
Delicious and rich balance of flavors. Smooth for a darker roast. Highly recommend! We were sad when the bag was empty
One of my favorites that we've gotten to try from Mistobox! Smooth, flavorful, not bitter whatsoever, delicious!
I ground these beans to a fine/extra fine consistency for use in my breville barista express espresso machine. I liked the hints of chocolate and caramel in this one. In a different coffee I didn't like the caramel notes as much but in this one I definitely did. I like to make americanos and to drink the coffee as shots of espresso as well. Not as bitter as some other coffee I've had so I enjoyed that too
I really like the notes of the coffee and how it has a stronger bolder flavor to it but wasn’t overly Smokey or too dark
Back to confused. I liked this one but I'm still chasing my first and still favorite high of "Huck - Citivas".
Was kinda flat. Didn’t hav much taste or character. Tried it all kinds of methods…wouldnt do again.
Not a caramel fan.
Like this one
Feels very light, doesn't have a lot of flavor.
Maybe a bit too sweet
Did not like the flavor profile.
I think I had indicated that I do not like darker roasts. This one was too dark for me.
loved this one, 10/10 would buy again
I liked this more than the previous one from Populace House
This was delicious! No bitterness and great flavor.
I like this coffee. Has good flavor and not bitter.
Normally not too into more bolder dark roasts but this one was pretty decent.
Guess I'm still not a huge fan of the darker roasts :")
Flavor was okay. Beans seemed very dry (not shiny at all).
Maybe my grinder isn't as tuned in as I would like it to be, but I find this blend a little bitter and bland
This coffee was not as bold as I was hoping. I used a Keurig and french press and didn't get a bold flavor.
Don't want anything chocolate
First of all, great packaging! The initial aroma when opened was fantastic. I smelled caramel, nuts, and chocolate. This coffee is billed as a medium-dark roast, but it definitely appeared to be more medium than dark. My first brew with each new coffee is always immersion in the Clever Dripper to get the full body of the coffee and see if it can stand up to long extraction. The course grind looked a little like sawdust, but it really unlocked the chocolate aroma and even gave a hint of cinnamon and dark fruit. The first thing I noticed when pouring is what a great bloom this coffee has. As I continued to pour it became apparent this wasn’t going to be as dark a coffee as I expected. And I’m okay with that. 22g coffee to 365g water at 203° yielded a coffee that was exactly as dark as advertised. This coffee is very complex, as the aroma changed again to be a very strong dark chocolate. The taste is about what I expected given the aroma. It has almost a hazelnut flavor up front and finishes with a smooth chocolate flavor. Overall, a very good cup of coffee!
Roast was too dark
This was so delicious, we loved it!
I like this one quite a bit as a hot bloom cold brew with a splash of milk. I like that the finish isn’t long or strong.
I prefer medium roasts, this is a little dark for my taste, but it is pretty good none the less, it grew on me over time. Not really getting the chocolate or caramel flavor, just tastes like a dark roast, though a pretty good one.
Solid coffee. I'm not sure what is different about it but I remember liking it.
Great way to wake up is with this coffee. Delicious coffee flavor without any bitterness.
This coffee is quite good. It is not quite as dark as I prefer.
Loved it. How do I add to my queue?
Great cups of coffee!
Good deep blend without being too bitter. Pleasing Chocolate note and then a surprising tartness at the end that was a bit off putting. Brewed nicely hot in a french press, but did a poor job as a cold brew; it came out weak no matter how long it had sat.
Would get it again!
It was ok.
Just how I like it: bold and nutty!!! Makes great cold brew :)
Felt a little light on flavor.
this is a delicious coffee with the chocolately well-balanced components we like and NOT smoky. We do not care for the smoky beans very much at all.
Weak flavor, desert dry beans with no oils present. Smells nice but weak. Looks and tastes like I received six month old coffee and not fresh roasted. Need to pass on this roaster's coffee.
A bold, mildly sweet, usual medium-dark roast. I think I’m not a big fan of the caramel and chocolate notes together with the mild nutty notes.
Definitely in the wheelhouse of what I like! A darker (but not too dark) roast. Very balanced and drinkable. Tasting notes are spot on as described. I like the chocolate/caramel flavors. If there was one downside, it might be the pitted fruit notes. But it’s definitely not overpowering by any means. I tend not to like fruity notes. All very controllable by grind and brew settings. Finished very nicely!
One of the best I’ve ever had shipped to me.
really nice roast and i didn't think i liked dark roasts. Not bitter at all. Better than the first coffee beans i received as that felt too mild and without much body.
not very strong. we use a French press, not much flavor.
Too weak and watery
Did not like it at all. It tastes horrible and it's not bold at all. It brews light in my opinion.
Excellent straight coffee taste.
So weak and lacking depth of flavor. Won’t be upset at all when we run out of this one. Also flavor description here doesn’t match description on bag—bag flavors include stone fruit. Had I seen that when it was picked by the curator I would have elected to change it. Frustrating that the description on the site wasn’t accurate.
Very delicious! Very balanced in flavor and smooth. My preference is drinking my coffee with oat milk, but this was delicious black too. It is also a bit easier on my stomach because of the low acidity. I think medium to dark roasts are my favorite.
Not an easy drink but still delicious. I liked the chocolate notes
Hated it. Don’t like dark roasts.
A bit darker than I prefer, but still very good. I prefer a bit more medium roast with fruity notes.
Love the bold flavor. It's very tasty and still easy to drink!
I originally had trouble getting a good cup out of this, but it really started to sing when I used it to brew aeropress ersatz espresso. Done that way, it makes a really strong but smooth cup. I eventually got to a decent place brewing normally as well, but it really worked better for me as "espresso".
A bit mild, but good
Decent roast but lacking in flavor. It's honestly a little weak for my taste.
This was the least favorite of what I've received.
Very good - not too heavy - not too acidic - me like
An excellent cup from start to finish. Bold, but not overpowering. A rich smoothness of chocolate and velvety ribbons of caramel add the right touch of sweetness.
Great taste and the roast was closer to medium than dark which I like. I would probably give the taste closer to 4 1/2 stars but it was good enough for 5.
Not my favorite
there was some acidic or bitterness that did not improve with brewing temperature manipulation
Wasn't as nuanced as I'd have expected. Good traditional coffee. I don't know why the curator suggested this when I put down medium coffee as my preference?
it was okay
Not a fan of Dark Roast
A bit to dark in flavor for my liking
Too sour, acidic and bright. Almost skunky. Not as chocolatey and roasty as I like. Even with moka preparation the flavor was thin and acidic and I just couldn’t coax any richness out of it.
Better than DSB
This was the perfect mix of a deep roast and smooth flavor. Loved it!
A little on the dark side for me
Very smooth. A great balance of flavor both my wife and I enjoyed. She prefers breakfast coffees and I like bold dark coffee. This hit us both well.
We've really liked and loved all of the other coffees but this was both bitter and too floral, we only made one pot.
Fine blend. Darker than I usually drink. The taste sticks around for quite a while. I had to grind it more coarse than usual (pourover) to keep it from being so pungent.
My husband and I both love this coffee! We love how strong it is, the flavor, how smooth it is. Everything really!
I did not like this coffee - it was too dark without the flavor notes that typically cut through the bluntness of the darkness for me!
I have actually removed "dark" as one of my preferences moving forward so would love to stick to Medium roasts from now on.
Drinkable, not bitter at all, but could use more flavor.
I liked this coffee but struggled to get a good well balanced cup. Easily could be user error here but I tried several methods and the closest I came was using the Harold V60 & that was a great, well balanced cup of coffee!
Good balanced coffee
Familiar taste. Well balanced enough for me.
A little bitter aftertaste, flat taste, it's OK, but seems missing something. I use a drop coffee single cup coffee maker
Absolutely no flavor. Like drinking water
Best of the three I've had. Strong flavor all the way through. Could use more depth.
This brews a good cup of coffee, if a little bit unremarkable. I don't pick up on those rich, chocolately flavors, but the caramel is definitely there.
I enjoyed it. I find it a little sweet but it smells great.
Loved it in the french press, not in the drip.
Flavorful and smooth
Great flavor and strong, liked this one.
Why was I sent 2 of the same thing?
Lots of deep flavor, not much of bitterness. Caramel definitely comes through.
Amazing! Not bitter at all, nice hints of sweetness with each sip. Love how bold the blend is without being overpowering!
For a coffee that's supposed to be bold and rich, I found this oddly lacking in body. I liked the chocolately notes, but the fruitiness was overdone for me.
I liked it better than Susan. She thought it was a little bitter but certainly a drinkable brew. We are hard to please together.
Smooth and tasty!
A little too dark, but a good everyday.
Oh wow this coffee was so good! Just as described - bold but not bitter. Loved it!
This is my favorite coffee yet. It’s bold and dark with out being bitter.
So far my least favorite, it's not as dark and bold it seems a little more on the "tropical" side of flavor to me. Still a good coffee just not exactly what my taste buds prefer. I had to brew this one a little strong to get my desired dark flavor profile
Chemex 18g coffee to 10oZ water
Good flavor. Overall, good cup of coffee.
The taste at the beginning is awesome but the aftertaste is very bitter and not that great.
A bit sweet for our tastes, but still good.
Maybe a little more on the sweet side than what I would typically go for, but enjoyed this one.
Very drinkable! Hometown pride.
Great coffee with a catchy name
I liked this coffee the least thus far and have had to mix it with the others JUST to use it up! It lacked complexity for me!
This coffee is very good but I wouldn’t call it bold.
French Press coffee was alright but it made good espresso
Enjoyable, easy to drink without compromising flavor
Smells good, but taste is lacking, its acidic, and not the good kind.
Too harsh. Tasted burnt.
This was fine but didn't wow me.
Interesting flavor. I probably will not reorder this one.
Too acidic for me, I prefer something smoother. Perhaps I don't like darks as much as I thought. I like strong but smooth.
Smooth no bitterness. A light chocolate taste.
Loved this one
Very smooth dark roast. Really enjoyed it.
It didn’t have the pop that I expected from such a bold name.
This one was okay. It tasted good, but I like a deeper, richer flavor.
lovely, rich yet balanced
Best one so far.
Smooth, rich, delicious!
At first, I didn't think it was a medium to dark roast because it was so smooth. It has a great full and rich flavor. Not bitter at all. I really enjoyed it!
Loved this one! Really balanced with lots of mid and dark roasty flavors. Just right for me.
Love this one!
Hi - I said on my profile that I don’t like dark roasts so surprised this was on my subscription. It tastes bitter to me
Weak for a dark roast.
Love the stronger flavor of a dark roast.
This one was great. Not bitter, good finish
Best one yet. Rich and smooth flavor.
This is absolutely one of those coffees that just lingers on your tongue, waiting for you to take that next sip to satiate that craving for more.
The tasting notes for this were spot on. We really enjoyed it! Very full, chocolatey/caramel taste with no bitterness at all. We'll be buying more of this one for sure.
Loved this one
Brewed with french press and clever. Not bad at all but not remarkable, a bit muddy/lacking in overall depth of flavor and a little thin.
a little bitter on a 30s shot draw at 196
Good blend, my preference is for less bold shots, however, it has helped me understand my tastes for espresso.
Great coffee without the typical bitterness of a dark roast.
Not bad at.
Yes! This! This is exactly what I want coffee to be. So rich. So toasty. Absolutely delicious. More of this, please, Mister Misto!
Not a fan of the candy taste.
It was OK. Prefer something a little more robust.
Mellow, smooth. Dry beans, the coffee is not very robust. Sippable. Delicious. I usually prefer oily beans, but this is good.
I prefer light roasts but decided to give this one a try. It has bold flavor and is good for a dark roast. There is no bitterness at all. But I still prefer the sharper floral and citrus flavors of a light roast.
Wasn't the biggest fan of this one, not a lot of flavor
The description notes it comes "without the bitterness," which is ideal because I'm not into super acidic coffees. Also LOVED the resealable bag. Would consider buying from this brand again JUST for the bag, it was so handy.
This was probably my favorite of the blends I tasted.
It is not a dark roast as it says on the package - it's more of a medium roast. There is nothing special about this coffee.
Not my favorite. Not strong enough.
Surprised this is in the medium-dark roast category, I would've categorized it is medium. Made an extremely creamy espresso, very nice.
Maybe a little too bold for my taste. Had trouble finding the chocolate and caramel notes.
This coffee is outstanding. The perfect combination of bold and flavorful. I brewed this with a Chemex pour over.
Too bland, mello
I loved this. Balanced and smooth.
Nancy recommend. Loved!
This doesn't taste like a dark roast and actually tasted like a medium light roast.
I enjoyed this, but it didn't stick out as one to have over and over again. I love the profile of these flavors, but wouldn't mind branching out.
A little too strong for most things. It's not bad on a Hario and a moka pot, but it's nothing to write home about. Not much flavor on any other method, until I made cold brew with it. It turned out delicious. Regular immersion, about a 1:7 ratio, 24 hours.
I liked this much more than my first coffee. I got the chocolate up front and liked that the finish didn’t turn bitter at the end. I’m looking for something that stars off chocolate, nuts and maybe vanilla then smoke, but then finishes rich and Smokey as opposed to bitter or acid
Dark with great flavor!
Perfect for me - dark without being oily and charbroiled and bitter, with all the notes I like.
Just ok. Bold but bitter at times
At first a burnt taste but as it developed we enjoyed it a bit more. Smooth but a bit bland. An ok coffee but not our favorite.
The best coffee I have had yet. So, multi faceted and just makes the whole house smell so good!
One of our favorites recently. Tasting notes were accurate, and it performed well in a variety of brewing methods.
Extremely dark roast -- not a fan.
Yum. Balanced. Fits our profile.
For some reason this did not have any flavor. The roast was too light. It was like drinking brown water
Very bland when made as iced coffee. As Americano it has a few nice notes but tasted too light.
Rich, full-bodied, smooth. Liked this quite a bit!
Nice weight and flavor, good on both Wave and AreoPress
Seems like a medium/light roast, not a dark. Light colored beans, hints of sourness.
This coffee stood out in the 6 I have tried. It was very strong, which I like, and had a really wonderful smell. I tried the ground version, would try the whole bean next time.
Really smooth and bold flavor, with an even taste
Love how smooth this one is. Favorite so far by quite a bit.
The coffee was darker than I prefer. Still drinkable, but not a fan
My favorite so far!
Rich, pleasant flavor
I like it's deep bold flavor with a hint of chocolatey-ness to it (if that's a word :) ).
Dark roasted and that is not something I would like or is good for my coffee machine. Light to medium coffee only please.
We love it!! Our favorite so far.
I liked this coffee but other family members loved it as they prefer a dark roast. I made the coffee via pour over and it produced a very smooth and bold cup of coffee, I tasted fruit while others tasted chocolate. Definitely worth a try!
This coffee bothered my digestive tract. Maybe it was too acidic for me. I admit I am a bit sensitive
I really tasted the caramel in this blend. There was also a nice hint of sweetness.
Was a little lighter than what I normally like.
Has a bit of a burnt taste to it at first then drops off. Not as full as I would expect.
Liked the chocolate notes, round, very bold and satisfying
Wow, I love this coffee! Every sip is so vibrant, and exploding with flavor. Normally, I love a velvety, smooth, comforting dark experience, but this is far from mellow. Not bitter or acidic, but a sweet and rich profile with flavor notes that are anything but subtle. Can it be bright and dark? I wouldn't say this roast has shifted my palette, but certainly expanded it,
My partner and I have confirmed that this has been our favorite coffee we've received thus far but also the BEST coffee we've ever brewed at home. Absolutely love it.
NANCY & BEN
This one was a bit too fruity/citrusy for me. I'm not typically a fan of those flavors in my coffee. I definitely prefer a darker roasted coffee too.
Was not my type of coffee, had too much chocolate flavor and did not go well with the creamer that I use. I prefer nutty coffee I have learned
Was not my type of coffee, had too much chocolate flavor and did not go well with the creamer that I use. I prefer nutty coffee I have learned
The coffee is labeled as a dark roast but brews incredibly light. More tea like than coffee like. The flavor notes are incredible, but adjusting the grind and amount of coffee just to get a decent cup was a huge pain.
No lasting memory
A little too bold for me but well balanced and yummy gets you going
Rich taste, great aroma, full-flavored.
Too dark. Didn’t taste the caramel or chocolate
Didn’t really enjoy this one. It was much to acidic and too light of a roast. I tried mixing it with other coffees and in the end, ended up just getting rid of the rest!
Not my favorite. This "dark" blend drank more like a medium. Ididn't care for the fruity, cakey notes in it. I did not taste much boldness or chocolate
This one was just ok for me
A little flat. Not as perfect as the first choice
It was a bit lighter than the name would imply or than we like. The flavor is good, not bitter and a touch sweet
A touch too bold!
Tasted a little too acidic to me. Didn’t enjoy this one.
Has been great in the aeropress
So good it changed my mind about my general preference of medium roasts. I drink it black every morning
So dark and delicious!
Good dark roast. Did not have the burnt taste that many do, well balanced.
I enjoyed it. Bold, but I didn't taste much chocolate or caramel. I could smell it, but it didn't come through in the cup.
Ok. Uneven. Sometimes I got a rich, delicious chocolate taste. Other times it tasted light, bland and like summer sausage.
Primarily drank through Cold Brew and had good flavors however the flavors just didn’t come through strong enough when compared to other coffee at a similar bean to water ratio.
Feels fairly mediocore. The tasting notes excite me, but the execution just didn't live up to the other onesI'e received thus far. Taste was muddled and uninteresting.
Nothing stands out in terms of flavor. Brews a smooth, medium roast cup with one flavor note.
This tasted exactly as it was described. Notes of chocolate and caramel. It's a bold (but not bitter) medium-dark roast for sure!
Not dark enough
Loved this one!
this is delicious! For a pour over, coffee is not watery & flavor profile is rich
This seemed too bitter to me.
It was good! All the tasting notes where there. Bur grind and a drip maker. A little light for a medium dark roast for me but still good.
Fine, kind of unmemorable
Full of flavor without being at all acidic. Great hot or cold.
This coffee was a bit bolder for my liking. I do use cream in my coffee and making it how I usually do was having to add extra cream to enjoy it.
We really liked this one. Good chocolate notes
Really enjoying this one, nice rich notes of caramel. Good hot & iced.
This was my absolute favorite of this series.
It’s okay. Kinda tastes like a better Folgers. It’s taking me long to drink it since I have way better coffee
Too light in roast. I would not call this a “dark roast”. Tasted somewhat sour.
Caramel came through nicely. Really pleasant roasr
Loved it. Dark and rich.
Good not great; probably would not buy again
Khuzema and Katherine
Probably the best coffee to date. I think we're really digging the boldness of this blend.
Good tasting, easy drinking coffee.
We did not like this one.
Was not bad but also not good
This was my favorite. Great smoothness and depth of flavor. Perfect cup.
The flavor seemed weak-I needed to measure an extra scoop to the number of cups to get some taste. Didn’t really get the subtleties off they flavor profile. :(
Bitter and acidic tasting.
This coffee is amazing! Absolutely love the smooth bold taste.
A little too bold for my taste. I may just prefer lighter roasts but still willing to continue trying different sweet dark roasts.
This coffee sadly tasted a bit burnt and did not have much depth to the flavor profile.
I LOVED this coffee! It had a sort of caramel popcorn end note that was soooo good! Definitely plan to have this again in the future.
Way too light, not dark enough for me.
Loved the caramel notes. Surprised we would like the darker roast. Usually we don’t! Not as acidic tasting nor had burnt coffee taste as some coffees have. We will definitely pick this coffee again in the future!
so rich! so good!
Don't remember this one super well either but I think I drank these mostly colder but think it was a little too light for my liking
The chocolate flavor was way to prominent for me. Not my preference.
Excellent medium-dark coffee that will please a variety of coffee drinkers; aroma of dark chocolate with a hint of fruity/ floral, and a taste that evolves as the cup cools- initial dark chocolate and hint of rich caramel give way to dried dark cherris. Definitely a coffee to experiment different brew methods with!
I am not a huge fan of the chocolate notes
I was happy to read about this roasters commitment to sustainability which selecting their beans
My favorite so far. Bold flavor, made me think of dark chocolate, caramel, and black cherries.
I found this a little mild, almost bland, with some chocolatey taste but not much else.
A bit darker then we usually like but nonetheless a good coffee with chocolate and caramel notes.
Too dark for me. Got a little bitter tasting.
Great roasty flavor and lower acidity.
A little dark for me
Deeper flavors but with clear chocolate can caramel overtones
Best so far
This coffee is a terrible choice for me! I can't believe that you and the curator even chose to send it. I made it very clear at the beginning that I do not like a dark roast. Ever. Please replace this with something that is within my requested tastes.
A bit too rich for me— more chocolate-y/caramel-y than I would like.
Didn't like it, not a very robust dark roast.
I thought this coffee was very good! It being bold made me skeptical at first, but it was excellent. It soured a bit as it cooled down, but not in a bad way, I still got the flavor with it.
Ok, better than previous selection. However, still think I prefer even darker roasts than this.
This is really a 3*, but it's below the previous two. Not bad as drip, but as Moka pot, it seemed caught between being a medium and dark roast, and didn't have the strengths of either. Still enjoyable, but less so than the others so far.
Loved the flavor and chocolate notes.
Nice and smooth - tastes great! Has enough flavor and isn’t too acidic.
6 stars! makes me want to downgrade every other coffee we've rated so far.
The description is very apt, the flavor was bold but not overwhelming. Very enjoyable all the way to the bottom of the cup!
I enjoyed it, but I think I'm just not big on dark roasts. It's also just hard to follow up the first two because I enjoyed them so much.
Too bitter and acidic for my taste.
Nice strong coffee with a bold taste. We enjoyed this one.
Maybe a bit heavy? Less forgiving when brewing
Amazing. So far the best one!
Rich and dark - with really subtle chocolate and nutty flavor profiles.
Very smooth, not too bitter, and nice roast-y flavor.
I brewed tried brewing this both with a Hario V60 and a Clever Dripper. It produces a fairly acidic note, that doesn't quite linger, but also isn't quite as pleasant as other coffees. It is very hard to find an ideal temperature to drink, once it cools it tastes almost tepid and a bit like stale bread. I could pick out some of the chocolate notes, but it wasn't enough to redeem this coffee for me. It's better than regular coffee, in that it's not burnt to a bitter crisp, but maybe it's still too dark for me?
Very dry bean upon arrival. Assuming that this is the way it was supposed to be when I opened the package. We continue to make the coffee until it was empty. Almost all times during the brewing process the grounds would clog in our maker. The coffee had good flavor when we could taste it but unfortunately when the grounds would clog, we could barely enjoy the coffee.
Maybe it was odd with the quality of the bean in a rare instance, maybe there’s another opportunity in the future.
It has a burned taste, very similar to Starbucks coffee.
Best coffee ever. Incredibly smooth, rich, notes of caramel and chocolate. No smoke or burnt taste. Spectacular!
It makes a good cup of coffee but is lacking that flavor and pop that would elevate it further and make it really stand out.
I personally did not think the roast was dark at all (as advertised). I found it a tad bitter and overall didn't enjoy the sipping experience at all.
One of my favorites that I've tried. I enjoyed the full flavor. Worked really well with my Chemex and worked great with a medium-coarse grind.
Good taste. Good for morning coffee.
A little too dark for my taste
too bold for my liking
Not enough body I like a darker robust coffee than this. too light. Get my drift?
Loved full flavor, yet smooth coffee. Now one of my favorites.
These beans were difficult on my machine for some reason, the Breville Barista Express didn’t like them and no matter how fine the grind, I couldn’t pull a shot. The packaging was cute!
Really enjoyed this coffee. Looks more medium roast than dark roast.
I felt like this wasn't quite as strong in flavor and also felt less caffeinated - any chance that could be true? I had migraines each day we drank this one - could have been a coincidence, I'm just very sensitive to caffeine (addicted :)).
Lovely espresso, Americano and iced latte
The Chocolate and Caramel notes were nice. The coffee was a bit more bold than I generally prefer but I was still very happy with it.
Didn't have much flavor. Tasted bland to me.
Tasted really good. Just for future picks. I also have a cold brewer. So you can choose those as well. But either way. Thanks! This was a winner!
Good, but not wildly interesting.
Ashlynn Rickord and
A light flavor upon brew, nice aroma. Could use some more flavor for my taste.
It made a decent cup of coffee, but smelled burnt to me. I'm realizing that I don't fancy darker roasts for pour-over.
Very well balanced, bold flavor but very smooth
Solid flavor. Smooth every time.
Nice and bold but flavor profile was kinda boring. I do enjoy these medium-dark blends though.
It could have just been me but compared to other coffee’s that I’ve received this bag just tasted averaged. Nothing really seemed to POP out at me and there were no true tasting notes. It really is for someone who likes medium roasts but wants to venture into dark roasts because I couldn’t find much going on.
I truly did not enjoy this coffee. Please do not send this one again. I received it twice in a short period of time.
I thought I wasn't a dark roast person, but this has made my severely reconsider that position. I liked the depth this had and made some cold, quarantine mornings more relaxed.
Excellent mix of caramel and chocolate without to much smokiness.
Exactly that. Meh.
Liked the full-bodiedness and richness of this brew.
Wife really liked it.
Unfortunately, this coffee wasn't one of my favorites. While smooth, the flavor wasn't as exciting or memorable as others I've tried. Wouldn't order again.
Too dark. I think a medium or light roast is better for me.
Best one so far.
I enjoy this bag. Smooth and tasty, no bitter notes at all.
Jason & Julie
My wife took the first sip and her eyes lit up and she exclaimed "Omg, this might be the best cup of coffee I've ever had in my life!". I would describe it as transporting you to a cute diner that serves up yummy malt milkshakes. Everything you could ask for in the perfect cup of coffee.
It is a little lighter than I prefer, but a nice coffee to wake up to. Not as smooth as I like.
nice and rich
Pleasantly surprised since the roast is darker than requested by far
Jess loves it
bland, lacking any of the flavors listed, no nose.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Rich but not too thick-tasting, interesting, every tasting note was clear (and I noticed some flavors that weren't in the description as well), easy to dial in and get a great cup.
my favorite so far!
Smelled amazingly. Liked this coffee a lot
Not my favorite
Hi, thanks for the coffees. Overall, I've liked them, but my preference is light or medium; this is way too dark! I read the article on roasting preferences, but if we could please keep it on the lighter side, that would be much appreciated. I'm really not a fan of dark roast so I'm probably not going to even use these beans unfortunately :(
Pretty smooth. No bad after taste. Nothing great. Nothing bad. Definitely not bitter. Drinkable. It does have hints of chocolate and caramel
Very good but has a very slight burnt after taste.
I did not like the taste
Good in Chemex. Excellent in Aeropress. Got more chocolate in Chemex. More Carmel in Aeropress.
This is the worst coffee I've ever had. It is bitter and has less flavor than instant generic coffee. I had to purchase coffee from a chain store to mix with this in order to make it palatable.
Had that brightness that I am not a fan of
Great full bodied flavor, not as dark as I prefer but still good.
A little bit too bold for me
This blend was a little lighter than I prefer, and it had sweet undertones vs. smooth and bold notes.
Nothing stood out about this one
Hi Connor - I think we got a bad batch. The first brew was rancid tasting, so I think the beans were bad. We threw it away. Could we get a replacement please?
Well, I'm going to finish drinking it, but this is awful, it tastes like sweet shoe polish.
strong and flavorful, but i like slightly sweeter and fruitier blends
Really didn't like this
This is delicious. I knew as soon as I got the box that I'd love it. It smells so good, and has an awesome flavor
I don’t drink dark roast, so I hate it. Don’t send me dark roast coffee. It’s not in my profile. And don’t charge me for it either. I’m not drinking this. I’m putting it in the trash.
Very nice cup of coffee. The flavors were good and the boldness was on point for my preferences. I would gladly drink this coffee again.
Smelled amazing, but had no real taste.
A little too dark
I do not want french or dark roast coffees. They are too bitter to me.
Little too dark roast for me
Fine coffee but don't enjoy dark roast as it dulls flavors.
I would not use bold to describe this coffee. Flavors of chocolate and caramel were so subtle, there were times I could not taste them.
Really enjoyed this one.
Not great. Don't really like dark roast
Much too dark for my liking.
Too dark of a roast for me, tasted too burnt
Very good, a little smokier than the first coffee, but still very enjoyable
A little bit too strong for my liking, but flavor was excellent.
Enjoyed it overall. I think I'm starting to learn that my personal taste is more on the dark, rather than the medium side.
Fruity and balanced!
10/10 aroma. Medium bodied with a more subtle taste than expected. A slightly finer-than-coarse grind and an extra minute or two steeping helped unlock the rich chocolate notes expected from a dark roast. It took some time to figure out, but overall a pretty decent cup of coffee.
favorite so far
Good go to. Nothing too special, but I could drink it every day and be happy.
Enjoy this coffee! YAY! Will try to determine what I like about it, but it doesn’t have the tangy taste.
This was tasty. Smooth and rich, very easy drinking.
Very dark, a little smoky
Exquisite smell, very chocalate rich.
Loved this. Full bodied, rich, flavorful without being burnt or acidic.
Definitely could be stronger. Has a bit of a fruity back note that we are not as crazy about, but not so much that we don't like it.
It was like a fresher version of what you'd fund at Starbucks.
I don't know what I didn't really enjoy but this was just not my favorite
Not as good as my first one, but still good. I did taste more bitterness than my first roast.
Love this one - great blend of flavor and nuance without being too acidic or dark.
Tastes too charred, and it's really difficult to get a good extraction. I think the boldness would be good if the chocolate and caramel came through more, but I'm only tasting a bit of caramel and no chocolate. I think I prefer my coffee be lighter than this.
too bold but good
Very good dark roast . Can taste the chocolate
I ordered a dark roast, so it's totally on me that I found this a little too dark for my taste, and while I tried a few different brew methods and grinds I never quite got it right.
Tastes too toasted and a bit burned
It was good for a dark roast.
Too dark for our preference
Four stars because it is delicious but just a little dark for my current taste and it's been tough to get a perfect extraction...
It was a little too dark for my taste.
Not too harsh but a little too bitter at the start. Ends smooth when done as a pour over. Chocolate is subtle with only a caramel texture.
This one is amazing!!
Wouldn’t want it all the time but it’s great as a break from my normal light roasts that I enjoy. Also a general crowd pleaser. All in all it’s good for a medium/dark roast.
I liked this better than my last coffee. I think I prefer darker roasts. The chocolate and nutty notes were excellent. I thought the brew was smooth and bold. I DID NOT LIKE the stone fruit notes. Last time I wrote something with the word “fruit” in it, that’s all the curator wanted to give me even though I said I didn’t like that aspect.
This was nothing special... Just a standard cup of coffee that tasted like something I could have gotten at Starbucks.
I liked the more Bold flavor.
smooth drinking for a bold coffee
Chocolately and smooth. Great in French press
Ok not my favorite
Didn’t really enjoy. A little too dark for my taste.
LOVE this coffee
Loved this coffee! Not bitter at all. Was surprised that this is considered a dark roast.
too bold for what it's trying to be.
not my favorite
Bold, rich, dark but not bitter. Definite notes of chocolate, hints of caramel. Very nice- 4 or 5 star This could be something to buy again or could be a regular go-to kind of coffee.
Not a fan. Too dark of a roast for my preference
Flavorful, more full bodied
The best so far.
This was my favorite so far. Rich, aromatic, smooth, and sweet.
Wouldn't get again
This one is reminiscent of an espresso roast. It's definitely not as dark, but it has a good, strong flavor that goes away quickly with little aftertaste. It has a slight cedar taste that shows up stronger when sugar is added. Overall a solid cup of coffee. I have had this one before at a friend's house. Despite us having completely different tastes in coffee, this is one we can agree on.
I found the flavor to be weak when I brewed this in my cold brew pitcher for 24 hours. My second attempt at brewing I did it over 36 hours thinking that would help make the flavor stronger, but honestly it didn't change.
When drinking it iced, you couldn't taste much it was like water. Good for people who don't like the taste of coffee.
Heating it up and drinking it hot let me taste a little bit of the caramel, but it needs more body for this to be enjoyable. So far this is my least favorite coffee.
liked this less than the last one. Not roasted dark enough for my taste, despite being labeled as a dark roast I would classify it as a medium roast. Not a fan of the "bright" / acidic character. Did not brew up with as much body / depth as I like. All that said, it was some of the best medium roast coffee I have had, with some nice nutty and chocolatey notes. But I like roasts on the darker end of the spectrum than this.
Pretty good. Solid.
Taste great. Bold. Depth of flavor. Smooth. Rich.
Brewed very smooth, liked the stone fruit flavor, freshly roasted beans provided an exciting bloom.
If I liked stone fruit flavors then I probably would have enjoyed this one. The fruity acidity was very prevalent on the front end but still palatable. Tart and tangy but not sour or astringent. Definitely not what I expected and didn't seem at all like the description on the bag. Seemed like was definitely a medium roast if not possibly a light roast. The beans are rather light in color and not very oily. Despite this, the coffee still had a good medium body to it.
Best one so far!!! Smooth and good balance and flavor. Just a little too syrupy.
Very nice roast, a little too dark but it still was tasty
Doesn't brew consistent, the flavor is fairly bland, and it's just all around boring.
Too dark roast.
We liked it better than the first one. Good hot but not strong enough in flavor to use as cold brew. Did like the smoothness and caramel notes.
Roast description is on point. Bit too dark for my liking
Smooth in our espresso machine
What a great coffee! Excellent as we move into the Fall season.... bold, smooth, definitely taste the chocolate.
A bit too bold for me.
Great taste with no bitterness.
Prefer the lighter roasts. Tasted a little heavier than the others but fairly so given this roast was a little darker. Not bad but I feel the lighter roasts give me flexability because I also enjoy mixing dark roasted beans depending on my taste moods.
Well balanced blend, on the medium to dark side.
I liked it, but it little flat and earthy for my tastes.
So far it has been a good. it is a great coffee.
I really liked this coffee! It had such a fun mix of flavour. While on one hand I could taste the darker roast, it would fade into a lighter coffee with much different flavours without compromising the fullness of coffee I would expect.
We were not a fan of this particular blend. We felt the flavor fell a little flat. We didn't taste any of the flavor notes.
This has been my favorite coffee so far. I’m a big fan of darker roasts and this has been a great cup of coffee.
Really good as espresso. I wanted this one because it fits my sisters idea of espresso/coffee well. Really good with milk or alone.
Tasted fairly light to me. Not a huge fan of the flavor.
I had a hard time dialing this coffee in for my espresso. It was too bitter for me and not sweet.
Very good coffee. Thick, hearty and robust, without being bitter or sharp. Very smooth, with light chocolate notes.
A bit too acidic and herbal for our taste, but really lovely iced! Can't wait to try the next one!
A little too bold
Very one note . not much going on with this one. didnt really like it
Very very good
Love this. From smell to taste, so enjoyed it.
This was a bit too dark roasted for my taste. This tasted a bit burnt and the chocolate were not as bittersweet, it was just bitter.
Not a fan
No bitterness at all. Really picked up the chocolate and earthy notes. Great in a cappuccino, even better straight up.
Flavor was very rich and bold. Loved it; you could deeply taste the flavor and enjoyed that it was on the darker side but not very bitter/smoky like most dark roasts.
Brewed weak for my taste, but will play with bean:water ratio for subsequent brews. Very smooth. Heavy on the chocolate and caramel notes. This is at the far upper limit of sweetness that I would still enjoy. I also prefer a fuller body than this coffee offers. Great coffee, but not something I would want to drink regularly.
Like the darker side of the medium roast. Tastes ok as pour over and drip. Not as smooth initially as the Day Tripper. Overall weak tasting and somewhat bitter. Tried multiple different grind settings and still not able to dial it in.
4.5 for me. Bold chocolare and almond/hazlenut notes give way to a pleasant bitterness.
Weaker than I like
Tasted great and the quality of roasting was very new and fresh. Best smelling coffee so far
This is GREAT, everything we didn't love about the last blend.
Pros: dark, but not too bitter. Earthy but not dirty. Good aroma. Liked the notes of caramel but not overly sweet.
Cons: good flavor, but not a strong flavor.
perfect for me; more of the same, please!
Good blend, dark enough, not bitter
I like this one a lot. Very smooth, although I’d like to see one with a smokier finish. Is it possible to try an earthiercoffee?. Thx!
average. drinkable but nothing special. not a ton of flavor or notes, in my opinion.
Ok. Tasted kinda one dimensional. A little in the dark side for me.
This was a disappointment. It wasn't bold at all. In fact, it brewed rather weak. There wasn't much flavor to it at all.
Better than the Day Tripper, but still a little sour. Maybe I don't like the taste of fresh coffee? Also, why so many variations on the instructions for use of the Clever Dripper? Is four minutes too long? That's what I have been using. UPDATE: This coffee grew on me. Maybe I learned to brew it correctly. More like this, please.
It is a little too dark roast for me. I would actually like to try some lighter roasts if possible.
This has been my
Favorite coffee so far. Since I use my coffee for espresso daily I think was the perfect roast for me.
This coffee was frickin excellent. Had that nice medium-bold flavor with that chocolatey caramel on the back.
Delicious and full of chocolate sweetness. Would recommend and purchase again!
Best dark roast I've ever had. Not bitter at all. Rich, smooth coffee.
It was a bit too dark for me. Just a bit "burned" taste to me. Not my liking.
Really liked the chocolate/caramel notes in this!
Nicely balanced, flavorful cup of coffee. A lot going on without being bitter.
It was a little too dark of a roast for my taste. I LOVED the re-sealable bag though.
I really enjoyed Night Moves!
I didn't like it as much as the 1st coffee sent to me
Kim and Chris
This is great coffee, we’ll be ordering it again!
I thought it was bitter, comparing it to the previous shipments, and not in line with my taste profile for coffee.
Too dark. Please send more coffee like Good Folks or Metric.
Full of flavor, one of my favorites
Really smooth and balanced. No sour or tanginess.
Comforting is a good word for this coffee. Smooth drink.
Stronger coffee flavor and bold as indicated. Could taste the chocolate and caramel flavors as well. Preferred so far.
Definitely my favorite coffee so far. I think a medium-dark roast is for me! I did like that while this coffee had a darker roast, it wasn't bitter at all. Very nice!
4.5 stars - very good!
I don’t like dark roast. Why was this sent when it’s not on my coffee profile. Pretty frustrating
Well-balanced and rich cup with pleasant notes of dark chocolate.
very sharp in the middle which is strange even if I liked my coffee sharp which I don't
This was one of the best darker roasts I've had in ages. Enjoyed this deviation from the baseline.
Not my favorite and definitely didn't like as much as the last blend. The flavor notes were not as pleasant as I'd like. Mouth feel was off and tasted strong and more of a "gritty" bottom of the pot feel.
Very smooth, nice flavors, low acidity.
This tastes like a charred marshmallow that is not quite burned enough to throw away. I did not enjoy it at all.
Perfect, one of my absolute favorites, dark and bold but not bitter at all.
Thought it was good overall. Nice and straightforward. Wouldn't mind something with a little bit more to it, but it's pretty good.
Fairly good. I think I’m becoming saturated in different coffe and having g some trouble differentiating
Quite a finicky bean that only tastes like it should after a lot of tinkering. I've found it requires a tighter grind compared to most beans which is quite a nuisance with a hand grinder. It also requires a longer pull time in my espresso machine to fully tastes all the notes. A normal shot just tastes watered down and flat; not bold at all. Three stars for being so temperamental.
I am enjoying this coffee a lot. Previously, my coffee was just rich and was not bold. And I am big on having a bold, stand out coffee to start my morning off. This does a great job doing that. Maybe for my next coffee, we try bold still, but start finding different notes.
A little too bold and bitter for my liking.
Wondeful cup of coffee! Super smooth no bitter after taste! I highly recommend!
The initial taste is quite nice, but each sip brings an aftertaste of char that unfortunately overwhelms the flavor.
Smooth but really not that bold
Terrible. Almost tasteless. Played with grind and ratio and this coffee is awful.
LOVED THIS. feel free to send another one soon!
This one is solid, but too dark/bold for my liking. I like a little more medium. It is bold and rich, but could be smoother. 3.5
I really enjoyed this one. Very nice flavor that doesn’t leave a bitter aftertaste, something i would expect from a darker roast. One of my favorites, so far.
this coffee was ok. But in this journey of coffee with you I am realizing I do like dark roast coffee and what I don't like is french roast. I thought what wasn't french roast was medium roast. But now I know that dark roast is different. I like dark roast.
Prepped with chemex. Coffee was fine but I didn’t enjoy it as much as others
one of my favorites so far. makes a nice, smooth shot, but still has enough bite to it. very nice.
Good coffee but not great
Really, really like this one. Dark, but not bitter.
definitely comforting, and I enjoy the caramel notes.
Too darkly roasted for my taste
Very tasty without any bitterness.
Nice and smooth. Don't even need cream! Highly recommend! One of the best coffees I've ever had!
Very nice smooth & rich. with a bit of sweetness at the end.
A little too bold, dark for me. But I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Not the biggest fan of this dark roast.
too bitter and too dark for me.
Dark, bitter. Not so good.
Lighter than others.
This one was a little spur to me.
Best coffee I've had
Deliciously bold flavor without the sharp bitterness of more citric-type coffees, perfect black over ice. A bit on the lighter side for my personal tastes, but still an excellent choice.
Like this coffee a lot. Love the earthinest taste.
GREAT TASTING COFFEE
Very complex and smooth
Great quality - beans are roasted perfectly. The caramel is strong flavor, very nice, but the aftertaste isn't the best.
I was not impressed with this coffee. It was too dark for my taste.
I was surprised because I usually don't like dark roasts, but this was really smooth, like a bold espresso not a disappointing french roast.
Very smooth medium roast. Has a more acidic finish than the usual bitter finish of a dark roast. Small hint of chocolate. Very neutral coffee in term of roast, finish, and flavor profile.
really like this one
I think those who like darker roasts would enjoy this more than I did.
Lisa and I both really like this one
very smooth, grows on you, i like it!
The coffee is a nice blend. The chocolate is detectable but the caramel notes don't pop out as much. It is a very pleasant drink.
I love the smell when it's freshly brewed first thing in the morning. Best bag so far.
A very solid cup of coffee. Nothing fancy.
Liked the boldness..slightly more acidic but I need to try again.
So rich and wonderful as espresso , and I enjoyed it for my cold brew.
Not too bitter. Defintily very chocolatey. I liked the overall taste of it. We've gotten medium-ish chocolatey coffee for 4 coffee now. Was wondering if you could change it up, and send something different? Like a dark roast with different notes?
We enjoyed the flavors with more lingering than the last selection, even though the beans were lighter than we typically favor and did find it somewhat bitter.
New favorite. Awesome body, really smooth, little to no bitterness and great aroma.
Description didn't seem to match the taste. To my palate this coffee was bitter and not very rich.
Good but maybe just a little on the dark side with more caramel taste than is ideal
A bold coffee with good overall balance. I wouldn't say it doesn't have any bitterness, but its not bad.
Didn't need cream or sugar at all. Great taste!
Enjoyed the bold rich flavors of chocolate w/ notes of caramel.
I love this coffee!!!
I really liked this one.
I go with my first impression on these reviews. Of course some coffees stay the same, some get better and some become forgettable.
This one is a winner and just as the roaster describes. Chocolate and caramel all day long...
I used my AP french press brew method and even with the coarse grind got a full flavored cup. i.e .not too thin.
This is a good fairly straight forward cup of coffee, nice body. I can pick up bakers chocolate, caramel, walnut, and maybe nutmeg? It's pretty well balanced and mellow., nothing is overpowering.
Although this is a great, I feel like I would like to try something a little more smokey, and/or adventurous.
