We get Off Grid from time to time and it has become one of our favorite weekend coffees (when we add cream and sugar). It's good but not great as a black coffee. The package sent fresh from the roaster was even better than when we grab it in local stores.

A very good dark roast but it is a VERY dark roast and overpowering. Great quality but felt a little less caffeinated that what I am used to. Overall a great coffee but you really have to like coffee dark and black to enjoy this

The flavors are overpowering for me. I've started to notice that I prefer medium roasts over dark roasts.

This coffee is not for me, the "roast" characteristic is really not my thing, to me it tastes like burnt coffee.

This was a great strong dark brew. Not to smoky. I brewed with a pour over system and a 11g coffee to 8oz water ratio.

As advertised and very dark roast. More layered flavors than most at this roast level. You can tell it’s good quality, just to dark for my palate.

Rich and tasty with slight bitterness (as a good quality). The beans are a little more oily than good beans generally are, but the excellent flavor means it’s not a bad thing.

Didn't really do anything for me. Didn't play well with my creamer and was too smokey for my liking (overpowered all other tasting notes).

I liked the boldness and richness. I didn't like the smokey after taste. I often felt like I had smoked a cigarette, the after taste and smell was lingering.

Incredibly deep, dark, rich coffee. If you don't like dark roasts, you will be turned off by this coffee. However, I love dark roasts and this is one of the best!

This is my 4th Mistobox coffee try (and 2 other non-Misto-boxes) and it is THE ONE I LIKE the BEST!
It is strong/bold but smooth, has a unique pleasant flavor, not overly chocolate, not overly anything, really well balanced and unique. I liked it better than Deep Space - too smoky, Black Butte - good/interesting but . . . , Dillons Blend - OK but bland. This may be my ultimate every day, but I want to keep experimenting and learning.

This coffee felt gritty. It also brewed inconsistently. We cleaned our machine to be sure and found it didn't change the overall heavy bite on the end of the coffee.

Rich and foamy espresso, with a great aroma!

Dark and surprisingly smooth. My wife described it as “palatable.” I notice strong hints of cinnamon in the front of my mouth.
