They blend and roast this coffee with two goals in mind; flexibility and balance. One Black’s component coffees will change throughout the year, but it will always be a stalwart blend which can both stand alone as a straight shot and flavorfully cut through milk.

Medium-dark roast. This became better, when I switched: full flow going to low flow. Then it was more flavorful and less bitter. Good flavor when brewed properly. Maybe too strong for Celine, but she liked it when I switched the process.

Tastes as described -- with balance! I really enjoyed this. Smooth, rich, and deep without any bitterness at all.

Good espresso blend. Complex flavor that is chocolatey and fruity, low acid, good crema.

I choose pre-ground so that I don't have to get a coffee grinder but the espresso grounds texture in this bag was extremely coarse so I was unable to brew espresso :(

This is very good coffee for us. No negative flavors, but a little unremarkable. Only reason it doesn’t get a five. We do like fruit tones but it’s difficult to get that without the acidity being to lemony/sour.

Really Liked this one, easy to dial in for the machine and consistently tasty. Not too fruity, acidic or bitter, well balanced.

I really enjoyed this blend! It was definitely more bread heavy than syrupy, but nonetheless balanced and easy to drink.

The flavor was good, and subtle, but not as bold as I would have liked. I like the chocolate notes but I prefer things that tend towards nutty, or citrus-y flavors rather than syrupy.

Does a great job riding the line between milk and dark chocolate, with hints of toasted pecan. Was particularly smooth espresso, very low acid. Overall fantastic.
