The John Brown Signature Blend was roasted for you by PT's Coffee Roasting Co. Coffees from Colombia, Ethiopia, and Sumatra combine to create a polished blend with a bold heart and rich character, spicy notes reminiscent of sweet pipe tobacco and dark chocolate with a bittersweet, soft finish.

Not crazy about the cholate hints within the coffee. Please no more like this.
Wonderful texture with pretty true to advertised tasting notes. Pulled 18:36-40, still retains good texture without being over extracted by longer ratios for a darker roast.
to much of a burnt flavor - maybe tobacco isn't a good flavor. Like a less strong Pike's Place
Jinoy & Sheena
This roast exemplifies what I prefer in medium-dark coffees: Distinctive notes of fruit and chocolate, with an undertone that is not too sweet. PT's Coffee nailed this one in quite an impressive, and flexible way. I tend to rely on brewing methods that bring out the brightness of the cherry notes, but immersion methods provide a beautifully smooth and refined cup as well!
