The Ethiopia Wate Gogugu was carefully roasted for you by Ruby Coffee Roasters. Wate Gogugu was grown between 2,000 and 2,280 meters above sea level in the Uraga region of Ethiopia. The extreme altitudes along with younger trees and nutrient-dense soil produce an exceptional cup of coffee with tropical flavors and a lively citrus-like profile.
This coffee surprised me in how much flavor was in the beans. The high elevations fix allot of flavor in the beans which are much more dense than lower elevation varieties.
This coffee was ok. Though not bad, it was not the juicy, refreshing, light fruit notes I thought it would be. Freshly ground with my conical Burr grinder at a medium coarseness then brewed drip on my Braun Brewsense.
This coffee is surprisingly similar to another coffee we have tried in the past from Apothecoffee called Red Honey. You can definitely taste the honey and floral notes, not so much the fruit notes in this one. The hunt for a refreshing summer morning coffee continues.
Great washed Ethiopian coffee.
nice flavor notes
I think the best coffee I've ever had in my life!! Tangy, citrusy, crisp.
Light and friuty. I find nothing obviously offensive about this coffee at all.
Chocolate, floral, flagrant
Loved the vibrancy of this coffee! The mango was delicious and these beans produced a very smoothie slightly acidic cup of coffee!

One of our favorites. The lively tropical flavors were lovely!
