Clara
Fantastic blend. Now one of our favorites
3/19/2023

Lydia
wasn't very fruity, floral or bright. not a lot of nuance. I've ordered some Third Wave Water to up my home brewing game and will be investing in a new grinder after Christmas, but I was a little disappointed in this coffee
12/19/2022

Tim
Too green and vegetative.
11/21/2022

Allyse
Smaller grind brings out the flavor better
11/17/2022

Blaine
Solid but not really a present “wow factor.” Wouldn’t get again.
11/16/2022

Christopher
Best MistoBox I have had in awhile.
10/25/2022

Nate
Gives me more of a vanilla chamomile flavor than fruity. Pretty mild and easy drinking, at least as a pour over. Good, but not super interesting to me.
10/14/2022

Tony
Tastes good according to Nesta
10/1/2022

John
Fantastic!
9/22/2022

Brett
Great floral coffee
9/20/2022

justin
Great coffee.
9/20/2022

Josh
Fantastic. Love it.
9/10/2022

John
My bag was way over roasted. It was dark and greasy.
9/4/2022

Peter
Love the flavor profile!
8/30/2022

Kathleen
Good as cold brew
8/21/2022

Janina
Little bit dark for me but still great!
8/13/2022

Amber
Very good
2/3/2022

Daniel
this coffee was okay, but ventured into bitter territory at times. I have a hard time imagining how you might call this 'fruity and floral' as it felt a lot more earthy to me.
1/18/2022

David
This is my favorite that MistoBox sends me.
1/16/2022

Jonathan
Fantastic taste, the beans are smaller than usual so just be aware if you don't use a scale to measure.
1/8/2022

Ann Marie
Brewed with chemex. Very smooth and chocolatey.
12/30/2021

Crystal
delicious and well rounded. crisp flavors
9/5/2021

Sarah
Not my style. I don’t like fruity coffees at all so this just wasn’t for me
9/3/2021

Sharon
Really enjoyed this one. Enjoyed the light floral notes.
8/20/2021

Brandi
Love
8/12/2021

Kendra
Much darker roast than expected
6/12/2021

Dmytro
Lovely one! Floral, bright, and wonderful start of the day!
5/28/2021

Jere & Susan
One of my favorite coffees I've gotten. It was delicate yet bold, smooth, yet complex. Just like a wild child, right?
5/21/2021

Marc
Tried it both drip and french press. Was ok. Different, interesting, not bad, but not great.
5/17/2021

Meredith
Loved the brightness! Very refreshing.
5/13/2021

Billy
Awesome
2/21/2021

Virginia
I think I like a fuller taste, but I liked the overall flavor of this one!
1/25/2021

Eddie
I had trouble getting a good extraction via a V60 with this coffee. Tried a few different grind variations, but it fell flat most times. My best success was with an AeroPress. The floral notes came out in the smell and it was very pleasant on the palate.
1/13/2021

Liz
I really liked this. It tasted darker to me than “fruity and bright”. I made my grind thicker for my asropress and that helped a little. I used it as an espresso for some lattes and it worked really well with that. My favorite is when I can taste more berry (especially blueberry).
1/4/2021

Vernon
I wanted to venture into lighter roasts to identify more of the tastes I like. Strong dark roasts are still my favorite, but I really like this coffee too. I'd like to continue to taste a wide variety of coffees.
12/31/2020

Heather
Felt a little too light. Tried to make it several different ways (aero press, chemex, coffee pot) still fell flat
12/26/2020

Riley
This was probably the best coffee I've tried in over 2 years of single origin coffee subscriptions. Such a unique peppery note, with great warm stonefruit and an earthy floral base. Not too bright, but very well balanced. Will definitely be ordering again.
12/7/2020

Emma
everything about this is our FAVORITE!!
11/17/2020

Nick
My wife thought it was too acidic. I liked it though.
10/29/2020

Kurt
I enjoyed it best when it was pressed.
10/8/2020

Brittany
This one was delicious! I’ve been getting more and more into the lighter roasts. I really enjoyed the delicate floral, fruity flavor profile. Will be ordering this again.
10/7/2020

Justin
Very light roast. Might be amazing with the right setup, but wasn't able to get the best extraction out of it
10/1/2020

Billy
Top 3 of the coffees we’ve tried. Very smooth and tasty.
8/19/2020

Anthony
Nice and mellow with a pleasant acidity. Bit of plum, wood and lemon. Not overly fruity and I wouldn't say floral. Solid breakfast coffee but not amazing by itself. Does make a very nice iced coffee using the Aeropress over ice.
8/18/2020

Angel
One of the coffees that really surprised me recently. Great flap or profile and aroma.
8/10/2020

Claudia
Delightful!
8/9/2020

Bryan
Im not a fan of anything floral. Tasted like a cup of flowers to me.
7/24/2020

Andrew
Tasty. Just a little too fruity for my liking. Definitely has some tangy notes to it
7/23/2020

Bradley
Very good !
7/22/2020

Malinda
Best one yet! Fruity and strong/bold - delicious.
6/14/2020

Rachel
Deep, rich, sweet, smooth with delicious acidic notes
6/12/2020

Jonathan
I’d give this one a 3.5. It wasn’t as bright as I like, but still a pleasant, I guess nutty flavor? I was never really good at articulating these types of things!
4/13/2020

Caleb
As Described - Maybe a hair bright for me , but good. Also, I might have not got the grind size dialed.
4/8/2020

David
Not bad
3/23/2020

Joel
Not bright or floral
2/12/2020

Amy
I would order this again, but not a knockout Ethiopian.
1/29/2020

Eric
possibly the best coffee ive ever had. holy smokes
11/19/2019

Patrick
Good stuff this one!
10/17/2019

Carter
Too light.
10/14/2019

Dennis
Really bad flavors. Every cup I've made so far tastes almost disgusting whether drip, aeropress, or French press.
10/14/2019

Jason
Quite good. Smooth.
10/13/2019

Cindy
Just my style
9/19/2019

Debra
Delightful flavor, ordered to brew on August 15th to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock!
We celebrated the Wild Child in all of us!
8/15/2019

Gerhard
Was delightful. My friends liked it even more. Will stay in the lineup.
7/30/2019

Jenny
Good!
7/23/2019

Scott
But but a tiny bit sweet too sweet
7/15/2019

Christine
This is so smooth and vibrant
5/16/2019

CHRISTOPHER
It's a good cup of coffee, but nothing is really remarkable about it. Nothing sticks out.
5/16/2019

Mckenzie
This was excellent, I was surprised how much I like it because I'm not traditionally a fan of floral flavoring but i think the fruits helped balance the possible overpowering of the floral taste.
5/7/2019

Jennifer
love the art
5/3/2019

Nick
Pretty bland/tasteless
5/3/2019

Jeanna
Really enjoying this treasure so far. My first Ethiopian and I am using Kalita on a medium/fine grind, 1:15 ratio. Super clear, bright florals coming through.
5/2/2019

Russ
It was just ok
4/27/2019

Jacob
I was extremely excited to try this offering from Thou Mayest, but was utterly disappointed by a lack of vibrancy, clarity, and refreshing characteristics that are expected from an Ethiopian coffee. Not only was each cup underwhelming, I was unable to get anywhere near the ballpark of notes that the roaster describes. Perhaps I had a bad batch or an off-roast, but I was disappointed by this bag.
4/22/2019

Justin
It was ok, but not the flavor profile that I particularly enjoy.
4/11/2019

Caleb
I definitely preferred the darker roast over this.
4/1/2019

Jonathan
Just as advertised, very bright & fruity. Was afraid of floral notes being too overpowering (not a fan of them), but I didn’t really notice any. I also lean more towards naturals vs washed, but this was one just really good!
2/23/2019

Joel
Really enjoyed this coffee. Bright and fruity
2/16/2019

Eric and Laura
Not quite as yummy as the COAVA ETHIOPIA, but darn close. The floral, earthy notes were very yummy paired with the fruit notes.
1/23/2019

Matt
I really loved the fruit and floral notes of this coffee! Very smooth.
1/3/2019

Andrew
I agree with the description - bright and vibrant with fruity and floral notes!
1/2/2019

Brittany
one of my favs so far
12/30/2018

Lyndon
Perfect level of fruityness.
12/22/2018

Daniel and Gwen
Very bright and was good but of the three I have had it has been my least favorite. Not as fruity as I had hoped.
12/14/2018

Thomas
Fruity and/or floral and/or delicious
12/13/2018

Ryan
The light bright flavor of this espresso was my favorite
11/24/2018

Jess
Excellent! Very bright. A sunshiny, floral cup. Dig it.
11/15/2018

Brendan
A bit bitter.
11/13/2018

Brad
I received La Ceiba on Friday, 10/12. I'm going to receive this today, Monday 10/15. I'm signed up for a weekly plan. Three days is way too quick, this coffee is just going to sit for several days.
10/15/2018

danielle
This has been my favorite so far! Very bright, can really taste all the notes - like honeydew and blueberry!
10/9/2018

Ty
Hi Seth!
We loved this one, and thought it was much more what we have been hoping to get from Mistobox. Thanks so much for your messages. This one is interesting how you can see in the beans that it is a darker roast blended with a lighter roast! We definitely have been getting a floral taste. Thanks for your help!
10/5/2018

Joshua
Very good, but almost too light. A great choice from time to time, but not an everyday drinker
9/19/2018

Clay
average. Description sounds better than reality
9/15/2018

MMVI
Not a fan; too light and not much flavor.
9/8/2018

Amanda
I did not get fruity or bright. It was a light bodied coffee with some slight floral but it was lacking in body, depth and flavor.
8/30/2018

James
Really liking this one so far. Nice and bright but not too acidic.
8/15/2018

Neal
This coffee is excellent. Tasting notes are complex while also complementing each other well. Worked well on Espresso and V60. One of the better cups of coffee I have had in a while.
7/31/2018

Thomas
Couldn’t get this to work for me consistently. It was ok at best.
7/24/2018

Chris
As described!
7/18/2018

Troy
If I could do 1/2 ratings I would. I think this is a pretty solid cup of coffee. Light, a bit fruity, mild finish.
7/17/2018

Adam
Excellent!
7/4/2018

Ryan
This one had a good flavor but wore off very quickly.
7/3/2018

Ken
Perfect roast. Earthy, clean caramel notes. Would order it again.
6/17/2018

Charles
Really like this one! Complex flavor, nice caffeine kick.
6/13/2018

Jeremy
Fruity/floral notes not as vibrant and bright as advertised when brewed via Chemex, but still a very good cup of coffee.
6/5/2018

Colleen
This coffee is excellent - I love the fruity, slightly acidic end notes.
6/4/2018

Trey
My new favorite coffee at first sip!
6/3/2018

Daniel
Sweet flavor, not bad. Good for a bright sunny day, especially iced
5/28/2018

David
Definitely taste the fruit but has a bit of bitterness. Not one of our favorites so far
5/28/2018

Katelyn
This was a little too acidic for me.
5/27/2018

Naomi
Love it
5/25/2018

Logan
Really loved this bag. The type of brightness and acidity I love. Thanks!
5/15/2018

Sarah
The coffee was great! It was definitely bright and fruity - which is our tastes completely!

It took 2 tries brewing to get the full flavor - but once we did, we loved it!
5/13/2018

Jason
Light roast that pours looking between light and medium. Complex, lemon seasoned tea flavors slowly give way to an unsweetened fruity finish. Better with a muffin or scone than with a bagel.

Brew methods: drip & French Press.
4/29/2018

ciro
Really liked this coffee because it was lighter and had some fruity type flavors but still had a lot of flavor.
4/25/2018

Matthew
Really good. Very comparable to the Klatch Breakfast Blend.
4/23/2018

Christopher
It's got a great middle and end. I've enjoyed it!
4/23/2018

Mike
Very tasty! Very light and made a nice easy cup.
4/15/2018

Matthew
LOVED this one.
4/2/2018

Ben
Interesting bean smell, but very enjoyable flavors
3/15/2018

Hannah
Delicious and bright cup of coffee. Super smooth and very drinkable.
3/12/2018

Charles
Loved it, thank you!
2/13/2018

Ryan
Only want beans for espresso, please
2/12/2018

Michael
Just OK. Never really popped with any super fruity notes like I was expecting from a single origin Ethiopian. I’m really looking for that “tea-like” fruitiness from somewhere like Ethiopia or Kenya. Thanks for continuing to introduce me to awesome new coffees!
2/10/2018

Collin
Hazy Brew, very drinkable and very smooth.
2/1/2018

Matthew
Funky smell right when opening bag was a bad sign.
1/30/2018

George
Quality beans, just nothing special about it. There's not a lot of flavors to this coffee.
1/27/2018

Zachary
Harder to dial in, but excellent citrus flavor.
1/25/2018

Amelia
It's a great South American coffee! But a downright terrible Ethiopian. :( I've brewed it at a few different grinds on both a v60 and the Bonmac Pro and all I can find is ceaseless chocolate and buttered toast. Sometimes if I breathe out at the right point in my sip I can catch a little bit of brightness before it's squashed by roast. This is the darkest "light" roast I've seen outside of Asia.

Full Disclosure: My package got lost in a polar vortex somewhere in the Virginias and was MIA for a few days... though I'd have trouble believing the lack of fruit in my cup is from being a week off roast or getting trapped in a frozen truck.

Not a failure though. Great in brownies.
1/22/2018

John
I didn't pick up the juicy notes I normally get from Sidamo, but this coffee was pretty good overall. It definitely took time to nail down the right brew method, and it was pretty finicky, but it worked well on the Clever and Aeropress.
1/18/2018

Alan
By the appearance of the bean, it was obvious that this was a light roast. Coffee shipped fresh. Taste was VERY citrusy. In fact, it was almost overpowered by a taste of lemon. Couple this lemon taste with the light roast and it almost reminded me of some teas. Taste was 'light and bright' and could be recommended as a decent coffee to start the day, but not my favorite for the above mentioned reasons. Likely would not go out of my way to purchase.
1/14/2018

Jason
Delicious
1/14/2018

Erik
Delicious. Starts out with bright citrus notes. Has a subtle tea quality. As it cools there's nice lingering sweetness.
1/14/2018

Zachary
Nice as espresso at higher temp brew
1/10/2018

Matt
This coffee was pretty good. It took more effort than normal to fine tune grind size and water temp before I was able to detect the fruity note to this. I don't think I'd characterize this coffee as particularly bright--to me it had a subtle flavor but was still pleasant.
1/9/2018

Trisha
Really delicious with our new pour over. Love it!
12/28/2017

Caryn
I preferred my previous coffee as it was smoother.
12/13/2017

Joseph
The coffee was o.k. - not super exciting in any way for my taste buds. Seemed a bit finicky with my kalita wave, but was still drinkable.
12/10/2017

Alex
Has a pleasant strong jasmine floral smell with a hint of cinnamon when brewed. The taste itself is bright and mostly floral with a nice lemon citrus aftertaste. It gets even better as it cools and you start to get some of the grape-like fruit flavor as well. Excellent coffee; one of the best I’ve had!
12/9/2017

Mark
Really didn’t enjoy this at all. Bumped up my next shipment date just to get away from this one.
12/8/2017

Elise
A great cup of coffee. All the upfront brightness of Ethiopian beans and then it gets surprisingly complex with fruit and floral tones.
11/28/2017

Caitlin
Very different from what I'm used too. Very Floral, and some fruit.
11/23/2017

Lorin
This has been one of my favorite coffees so far, it was smooth and sweet and consistent. Not bitter or sour. I usually don't prefer blends over single origin but I feel like I'm partial to Ethiopian beans. I would drink this one again.
10/25/2017

Lauren
This has been my favorite so far!
10/20/2017

Patrick
We did not care for the aftertaste. We had high hopes for this cup but it had very earthy yet chalky undertones. Not a good match for us. We think the roast level may have overpowered the bean.
10/16/2017

Yeh
excellent coffee!
10/13/2017

PC
I do like this coffee a lot. It has a fruit forward profile with some berry and melon at the front, but it does get a little bit tart on the back of the tongue. That being said, its a really good cup of coffee. I love the roast (a perfect light-medium). I also caught some floral notes on the nose in the cup.

This was very good!
10/11/2017

Matthew
Sweet and smooth, I enjoyed this one but I had a hard time picking out any interesting flavor notes. Solid but not particularly exciting.
10/11/2017

James
Really interesting coffee, balanced acidity with notes of nutmeg and cinnamon, reminded me of a chai tea. By far my favorite coffee while on Misto
10/9/2017

Chilly
a few years ago I traveled to the upper peninsula of Michigan ... I know it sounds weird, but this cup brought back hidden memories: wild dark berries, dark honey and the smell of field flowers. this coffee totally suprised me in a good way! from the aroma from the bag to the grind, to the pourover to the cup. when you drink it, take your time -- it releases more flavors as it cools. And for a bonus, treat yourself to an iced pourover! So good!
-- who knew such good coffee could come from KC MO!
10/6/2017

Dawn
I did not enjoy this particular selection. It was flat and lacked the fruitiness I enjoy.
10/2/2017

Rosemary
Made great bright espresso. This coffee is certainly fruity too. I am very happy to have this in my cup.
9/24/2017

Rachel
Loved this one! Very fruity
9/18/2017

Daniel
Not a fan of this one. Definitely on the bitter side
9/7/2017

Justin
Average but enjoyable
8/30/2017

Alex
This coffee was just not good. It tasted under-roasted and unbalanced, giving me flavors of either sharp hay or woody fruit rinds. My assumption is that this coffee was from a bad batch.
8/27/2017

Matt
I'm always partial to Ethiopian coffees. This is a very interesting roast to me as it's different than other Ethiopians in some ways. It makes a really smooth cup, where I'm used to a bit more citrus and acidity from the region. It definitely still has fruity notes, but leans towards berry and less citrus. I'm also tasting subtle notes of smooth Swiss chocolate, cardamom and cinnamon. It all balances together nicely.
8/19/2017

Aidan
This coffee tastes amazing!
8/14/2017

Julie
Very good!
8/10/2017

Lucas
Nothing too complex about it, but I like how fruity and pleasant it is. A very enjoyable coffee that I would drink again. I liked the roast on this one better than my first coffee. The floral aspects were very nice and were similar to my first coffee. I'm more of a single origin person, but this is a very nice blend
8/9/2017

Seth
very tasty and easy to drink. LOVE Ethiopian beans!
8/9/2017

Sam
Solid cup. Bright and floral.
8/3/2017

Sarvar
I think this one is my favorite so far. Great combination of floral and fruity flavors. I might ran out of coffee before the next delivery :)
8/2/2017

Murphy
First off, the packaging is incredibly beautiful. Second, the coffee is everything it is described to be. I am a huge fan of Ethiopian coffee, so this is perfect. Very happy.
7/27/2017

Nathan
This was a great blend. For whatever reason I am sometimes suspicious of blends vs. single origins, but this was nice and light with definite floral and fruity notes. Being a blend, I can't get much more specific that fruity and floral on the taste notes, but it was delicious. I actually don't know if this would be considered a medium or light roast, but I enjoyed the roast level. If there's anything to improve on, I'd say I would have appreciated more boldness of flavor as the floral and fruity flavors were there but barely discernible.
7/25/2017

Botaem
I made a batch of cold brew, it was awesome. I think Wild Child is my favorite so far from my Subscription so far.
7/24/2017

Chase
Excellent!!! In my top 2 coffees I've ever had...can't go wrong with this coffee!
7/22/2017

Tyler
Loved the notes!
7/22/2017

Daniel
Loved the nose on this!
7/20/2017

Stewart
Damn near perfect.
7/19/2017

Jon
tastes a bit like tomatoes - but it seems that if I backed off the quantity in my pour over that went away. Really interesting coffee - lots of fruit flavors and it stays on the sweeter side of what I like. Finding coffees like this is exactly why I have Misto.

Sometimes I can taste some interesting notes but other times it's fairly plain. Not a huge fan but we will drink it
7/15/2017

Jonathan
More floral than I remember

Jack
This coffee offered exactly what I look for in coffees: acidity, floral notes, and bright fruity flavors!

We've liked all of the ones we've had so far, but we didn't favor this one from Thou Mayest. Which is a bummer, because we normally really enjoy their coffees.

The coffee was somewhat flat, lacking in vibrance. And it had a soapy, porous mouthfeel. It was vaguely vegetal and perhaps, "gravy-like". There was no prominent or developed acidity, and just kind of tasted baked/stalled out. It did have some lemony qualities, but just didn't seem well developed.

That said, this was obviously a different roast approach than what we have been accustomed to, so it was great to be able to try something different. We wonder if it was an off roast. Looking forward to trying the next box!

Best coffee mistobox has sent thus far. very very good. tons of flavor, great as a flash iced pour over. Great job!

Hello sunshine!

Ben
This was definitely my favorite coffee so far! Full of flavor and had the most consistent taste over time as well!

Austin
I liked the complexity of this coffee. It had a little more roast on it, it actually made a fantastic cold brew and iced coffee. Lots of floral came out in the cool cup.
6/27/2017

Thomas
Interesting flavor I have not encountered before. Strong floral notes up front with just a hint of fruit. The finish is almost vegetative and grassy. This would be more of a "in the mood for" type coffee vs. a daily drinker.
6/26/2017

Adam
It's really good! It's citrusy and easy to drink, and definitely has more exciting flavors than the first coffee.
6/26/2017

Alec
Really have enjoyed this coffee. I cant quite put my finger on why I dont like it as much as the last roast that was sent. I think it has some deep "grape(y)" notes I'm not diggin. But all in all this is still pretty much right up my alley.
6/26/2017

Jared
Not a bad coffee but a bit too floral for my taste, which almost came across more as notes of the plant stalk, not the fruitiness. I really struggled to find a good cup with this one and not to nit pick the packaging, but it didn't contain a ton of information that might help me make a better cup. Not bad, just not great.
6/25/2017

Christian
This one is MUCH better. It's bolder. The notes are much stronger and vibrant. The stronger and bolder the notes, the better.
6/25/2017

Daniel
While the flavor is good, the scent leaves a bit to be desired. It is not the best nor the worst coffee I have had, but the flavor is on the lighter side, my preferred taste. I am not struggling to drink it, but it does not excite me.
6/24/2017

Ryan
Not a great coffee but nothing wrong with it either. Wild Child presents fruity (blackberry) and floral (jasmine) flavors in a bright acidity cup that underwhelmed in the end. The flavors get muddied together at finer grinds, making it difficult to discern anything.
6/23/2017

Nathan
Loved it, funky. kinda fruity and lots of flavors going on. didn't get the floral much but got lots of grapefruit-ish. dry mouthfeel
6/20/2017

Rachel
love how fruity this one is, really nice fruit smell and taste for the first and last sip
6/19/2017

Timothy
Very fruity, really excellent. I don't think the bag actually said the country of origin, though!
6/19/2017

hector
WOW!

Tried this as a Japanese iced brew with Chemex. Smelled great and tasted fruity but without the highly acidic finish. It was harder to pick up tasting notes but this was a winner for me.

UPDATE: this coffee has a LOT of chaffe when grinding. the 2nd iced coffee was awful (using same recipe with sugar but coarser grind.)Maybe affecting hot brew as I detect some funky aroma and taste the last few brews. Reduced to 4 stars

This coffee was like an Ethiopian coffee starter kit. Great for someone new to the acidity and floral/fruity notes of coffee from this region, though certainly not overbearing. I enjoyed it.

Favorite coffee i've ever had

Given that this has fruity notes, I was excited to try it. However, it was not as light and fruity as I was expecting.

Very delicious fruity and floral notes.

Mihir
Slightly refreshing - it has wonderful flavours and a beautiful color. Its not bitter at all.
5/31/2017

Michael
The cup was appreciated but unremarkable.

Bright, fruity- wonderful from start to finish

Loved this coffee! would order more at a later date

A very tea-like coffee. Floral notes were the highlight, but I didn't find it very balanced. More floral than fruity and definitely bright. The most average coffee I've received from MistoBox and the first one I've felt deserved a 3/5.

I do enjoy a tea-like floral coffee, but this one just didn't do it for me. Brewed in a Chemex with a paper filter and I also tried with an able kone for more body.
5/9/2017

Cale
Liked this one. A solid choice. It starts off with notes of dates and warm rose. The middle resonates with full notes of pomegranate and cocoa. It finishes off with notes of sweet black tea. Overall it is a very warm Ethiopia with a full round profile with nothing really sticking out.
5/8/2017

Gabe
This is quite good. Fairly complex, bright, and not overly sour which is sometimes a problem with lesser Ethiopian coffees. Really enjoying this one.
4/26/2017

Gilbert
As a French Press, you get alot of the berry notes. As a pour over and chemex, its definitely bright and full of body. A fantastic coffee with a very creative name. I wonder why they don't put all the "nerdy coffee info" on their bag?
4/21/2017

Bryan
It was very good I liked the flavor of the onyx better
4/15/2017

Tashia
This was delicious iced and hot. Very smooth and bright- perfect as we head into spring and summer
4/13/2017

Ridwan
The floral notes of this coffee are strong and accentuated even when used in a French press, making for a lovely cup.
4/10/2017

lauren
WOW! This was a great coffee. Very well balanced between acidity & body for us. It was almost sweet with honey & floral notes. It was enjoyable with every brew method we put it through - french press, pour over, and Japanese iced. Definitely one of our favorites now!
4/9/2017

Paul
Fruity and acidic, this coffee goes extremely well with V60, while the Chemex tends to balance out the notes a little more. Amazing coffee!
4/8/2017

Jamie
Very mild and easy to drink.
4/8/2017

Amanda
It's ok, not really strong enough. Has a very weak flavor, and have to use way more beans to get a stronger flavor.
4/5/2017

Loren
Just didnt cut it for me, tho its plenty smooth.
4/5/2017

yael
Delicous flavor!
4/3/2017

Ahmed
Bright, juicy, with a pleasant aftertaste. Managed to get some stone fruit (peach?) and floral notes. First attempt was via pour-over (24g / 14 oz water).
3/30/2017

Kayla
Whoa! Bright is right... I started with the flash cold brew pour over method and was smacked in the face with acidity. I mean I literally recoiled in surprise! It wasn't terrible, just not really my cup of tea (Er... Coffee). I tried regular old pour over method next, even though I don't care for hot coffee, hoping it would balance the cup. This cup was so sour I poured it in the sink and started over. After a few tweaks (finer grind, lower water temp, longer brew time), unfortunately nothing improved. I hate to give up on these beans, but I think this one is a complete and utter fail. Maybe I'll try cold brew and choke it down until I can get to the store for another bag of beans.

Love this coffee! It is a very smooth, medium body cup of Joe. My favorite from Mistobox.

I am finding out that I don't prefer the acidic kind of tangy flavors. I wouldn't necessarily call it bitter, but it has a bite to it...like a back of the throat oily/sour feel. (probably sound crazy) Not a great way to explain, but overall did not love the profile.
2/21/2017

Pedro
Vibrant and very aromatic, maybe just a little too floral for me. Over all not bad, but not one I would order.

I'm used to drinking Starbucks French roast, and I drink it black. Wild Child is nothing like it. The coffee is rather sour and I have to add creamer to it to make it more palatable.

Better than the Ava Blonde

Delicious. Favorite so far. We love Ethiopian so great job!!

Wild Child was much better than the first coffee. I loved it. The roast was the right amount, and it didn't taste bitter. If the next batch is as good as Wild Child, I'll be happy.
1/26/2017

Maureen
Wild Child was the favorite of the office thus far! WOW! This bean was so delicious our staff was burning through two to three mugs each, per day! The acidity was perfect. The fruity/floral notes were a crowd pleaser. The nose was divine. More please : )

Having a hard time getting a really good cup out of this coffee. Beans smell great, so I was excited, but not as tasty as I had expected.

Delicious nice level of lightness, the flavor has lasted very long from the roast date. Fantastic coffee

Everyone loved - great fruity flavors and aroma, very smooth and interesting flavor profile.
