This is the Unity Blend Organic brought to you by Dillanos Coffee Roasters. This dark roasted Organic and Fair Trade certified blend is comprised of Dillanos' "One Harvest Relationship" coffees whenever possible; sustainably produced and ethically sourced. The cup has dark chocolate and herbal notes with a sweet caramel finish.

This is a very good choice for those preferring a strong chocolaty note in their coffee. I find it rich and bold, with a fine finish unblemished by overly acidic harshness. Four stars only, due to its online price, where shipping costs seem to play the role of profit center.

Bought this coffee directly from Dillanos and I really like it. It's herbal but in a sweet way that I enjoy and the herbal flavor is balanced with the chocolate flavor. Smooth finish.

Another very oily bean. Tough to get out of the grinder. I prefer coffee that tastes more like coffee rather than herbs and additives.

The roast was dark and the beans were oily. The coffee was bitter without any distinct aspect like something from Starbucks. It made an exceptionally bitter espresso with less creme than the other coffees I have received.

This one tasted way over roasted and had a burnt aftertaste. Which is too bad, because previous versions of this were great.

I love this coffee. Rich, dark and flavorful. This coffee with half-and-half tastes like a bowl of Cheerios almost. It is very delicious.

In many ways, this one may be my fault. I was curious what an herbal note in coffee would taste like and the answer is...not my favorite. The smell of the coffee somehow doesn't have that delightful coffee smell when I poured out the beans, but rather has a somewhat sour note. The flavor kinda meh, as it lacks that brightness and sweetness I normally attribute to coffee. Further, the mouthfeel of this coffee was a little off-putting. I'm not sure how to describe it...kinda like flat soda, almost syrupy? Finally, for some reason, it feels like it leaves a residue on my tongue after drinking it which stays with you, even after you drink something else.

I'm not very good at describing the taste. The Unity blend isn't as good as the one I received before. It seems to lack flavor. There's a burnt aftertaste. Maybe I don't like the herbs. I do enjoy trying new coffee though. Sorry I'm not more helpful.

This is really awesome to make in a french press, I don't enjoy it as much if a prepare it through a pour over. It's a really good roast for this time of year! I love it!

We were finishing up some coffee we had purchased and started your first selection this past weekend. We really like the smooth boldness as well as the herbal fullness that lingers in the middle of your tongue. It is particularly pleasant to not have any bitter afternotes. We think this was a great pick! Chocolate is always great as well! We have used our Technivorm Moccamaster for most of the brewing but did have one cup via French press which was extremely rich and delicious!

Though the scent was delicious, the actual coffee when brewed was surprisingly tasteless. I even tried brewing in other ways (as espresso, french press) without much better success in terms of really being able to taste the flavors you describe. It has decent caffeine content, but very little buzz for my tastebuds.

I like the subtle chocolate tones. Normally I drink expresso roast and I enjoyed the less roasted/less assertive taste of this coffee.

Really enjoyed this one. I don't typically buy this way on purpose, but I tend to enjoy coffee with that slick/oily surface on the beans, just like this blend. Very tasty coffee.

I've tried several brew methods with my Aeropress. It certainly is bold and flavorful, but I am not blown away. Perhaps, my palette isn't sophisticated enough to taste the subtleties.

It tastes great and it's as the label reads; Dark Chocolate with Dried fruit etc.. Definitely something I'd buy again. I have a drip coffee machine and this tastes great in it. This was my first delivery from here and I'm already impressed with this service AND this specific coffee.

Brewed great as espresso; nice crema, and liked the taste on its own, as well as with a little steamed milk. Roast may be a bit too dark for my taste, so trying Medium next time. Couldn't see a Roasted-On date on the bag (would be a nice touch), although coffee was definitely fresh!

I think it's a fine coffee, full-blend, buut I found it to be a bit bitter. It may be how I'm making it, and not fine-tuning my approach. But daily I try different things, and it still is on the bitter side for me. I prefer a smoother coffee, and think there are smooth coffees that can still be bold.

This blend was the best in the most recent MistoBox I received. Opening the pouch, my nose picked up scents of tobacco, nuts, cigars and smoke. The dark, oily beans brewed to a rich brown color. The flavor was slightly bitter without any distinct notes, but still tasted full bodied. I might purchase this blend again.

I like the boldness of this coffee, though the herbal notes are a little too much at times. I appreciate the depth of flavors but the finish is a little off. All in all a good cup.

Loved that it was organic and sustainably sourced, but it was a little bland for my tastes. I really do like a nice bold cup of coffee and I brew it quite strongly. Love trying all these new kinda though!

This roast is absolutely dark with a strong helping of those essential coffee oils. If you're a fan of a roast so dark that is gives notes of wood and leather--this one's for you. The chocolate and herb are there too, but sitting well behind the dark roast flavors.
