This is the Organic Decaf Colombia brought to you by Spyhouse Coffee Roasters. This coffee from the Tolima region of Colombia was produced by the ASOPROCAFFES at 1,700 - 2,200 meters and was Fully Washed before being decaffeinated using the E.A. Sugarcane decaffeination method.
Using my typical pour over method, 190 degrees, 12oz water and 3tbs of beans I tried a few different grinds and finally settled on a more course grind. Seemed the less interaction between the coffee and the water made this more enjoyable. This was the only way I could extract any fruitiness described in the description.
too light and too much citrus for me-- I prefer darker and bolder (nutty, chocolate)
