The Ethiopia Limu Gera was carefully roasted for you by Kaldi's Coffee Roasting Co. This Fully Washed coffee was grown by the Gera Estate in the Limu region of Ethiopia between 1,800 and 2,100 meters above sea level. At the Gera estate where this coffee is produced all coffees are shade grown, free of chemical fertilizers and insecticides. The estate invests in the future of its community as well, providing housing, education, clean drinking water, electricity, health care, recreational facilities and more for its employees and their families.
I thought that it was a bit too bitter for my taste. I generally prefer coffees with a lighter roast. That said i did enjoy the fruitiness of this coffee.
Eh, a little too earthy, it was ok
Bright and floral, a delicious coffee
Smooth, very low acidity coffee for the roast. More of a crowd pleaser with subtle flavor notes. Didn’t get citrus.
Loved this one most on V60, but it was also great in a Kalita Wave. Very smooth and clean.
Not a fan of this one. It’s ok, it’s drinkable, but I don’t look forward to it every day like I did with the last one. Brewed with French Press. Normally I drink coffee black but I’m not sure if I’ll make it through this whole bag without adding something to it.
I don't have the vocabulary. I just really like it.
Smooth, slightly smoky (in my opinion). To me, the notes of milk chocolate came across more caramely. Citrus does come through when I let it sit on the back of my tongue. Brewed with a French press.
Clean tasting, french press brought out milk chocolate and fruit (apricot apparently). Texture was smooth but a little thin (french press). Finish had a bit too much tobacco smoke to it, brewed at 208, will try at 202 next to try and reduce that.
Best coffee of those shipped so far.
Soft flavors, no harshness
It's certainly good coffee, but much darker (tasting) than I would like.
