This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Goshen Coffee Company will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
This is the Ethiopia brought to you by Goshen Coffee Company. This fully washed coffee was sourced from the growing region of Kochere, Sidama in Ethiopia and was produced by the Dandura Washing Station between 1,900 - 2,200 meters. The cup has a fragrant floral aroma of bergamot with a citrus acidity, a honey-like sweetness and a lingering chocolate finish.
I think this may be my favorite so far. I've like Ethiopian coffee before, and this is no exception.
Amazing, so soft and subtle with the right out of acidity and great taste profile. The citrus flavors are a great start with a very smooth finish. Loved it.
really enjoyed this coffee
I could taste the floral notes in the coffee and enjoyed it quite a bit.
It’s fine, but not my favorite. A bit too heavy on the darker notes.
Very good, exactly the flavor I want in a coffee.
This was my favorite, so far.
Great coffee, very bright with strong citrus notes.
The citrus and honey combinations were great — chocolate aftertaste was not my favorite, but it was overall very good.
Floral, bright, citrus and sweet finish.
slightly better but still pretty basic. bright, but lacks personality.
smooth with great aftertaste & notes
Revising my review after receiving this coffee for the third time in eight weeks and the second week in a row. It's not bad, but it's not great either. I agree with a previous reviewer who noted that it's too light. Other Ethiopian roasts-- like the DCR-- are leagues ahead in my view. Please don't send me this coffee again.
Please don’t send this one again.
A little weak or light. I’d like to try something stronger
Enjoyed this Ethiopian bean, though after tasting the DCR Fero Sidama, I think any competitors will fall short. It's not as juicy as the DCR; it's more subtle. It's tasting notes were accurate, and I have nothing more to add to them.
Honestly a bit disappointing—not getting much other than acidity and a bit of chocolate. 24g coffee with ~280g water seems about best to bring the flavors through. Could be affected because it arrived 18 days after roasting.
Hard for me to taste any citrus flavors, Aftertaste is of light chocolate.
It was good but definitely not our favorite
This wasn't a very bright coffee. I found it to be bland and lacking in extensive flavor notes. It seemed very heavy Robusta with a significant amount of earthy and chocolaty flavors.
not a big fan of chocolate finishes.
Smelled wonderful. Tasted a bit too sour for my liking
It has a good sweetness but it is a stronger chocolate than berry. Roast level was great
I liked this coffee. It is different in some way with the bergamot. I probably wouldn't have picked it from a shelf, but I was glad to have it sent to me to try.
Very meh Ethiopian. Not at all what I'm used to.
This was our favorite so far - excellent!
Loved it. Once of my new favorites
Had a bit of a strange taste to it on the finish. Neither my wife or I very much liked it. Can't place what exactly was wrong with it.
Not a ton of any specific flavor but very enjoyable in a v60 pour over.
Love the taste, love the smell! Great coffee for any time of day. Seems like Ethiopian coffees are becoming a favorite :)
This is enjoyable, yet not something that I would want all the time. I has an interesting flavor profile, just as you described- bright, flavorful, citrus, with a touch of honey-like flavor and some chocolate. Not sharp, not bitter. Overall a nice, good coffee.
