The Guatemala Huehuetenango MAM was carefully roasted for you by Dawson Taylor Coffee Roasters. This Fully Washed coffee was grown in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala between 1,500 and 1,900 meters above sea level.
The first time ever with my wife has told me she could smell the coffee in the bedroom and she thought it smelled wonderful. It was great.
Pretty mellow with slight chocolatey flavor and a little brightness that I guess is the apple note that is advertised. I like that I got a light roast this time around, and would like another light roast with maybe a bit more fruitiness?
Appreciated the more savory, darker notes. More chocolatey, nutty. I think that this style works really well in lattes. I mostly used it for iced lattes and it was good. Also great as straight espresso.
Smooth, slightly fruity. Very good as cold brew. Usually prefer more fruit forward beans
Just "meh". Reminded me of the coffe I'd get at gas stations long ago, kind of a "muddy" taste.
It was fine, just didn't stand out to me. I just tend to like lighter roasts with more acidity and juiciness.
made a really good espresso in the 9barista... i think
Smooth and full flavor
Great bag of coffee definitely visiting this place next time I'm in Idaho
Not sure if we didn’t brew well but didn’t really pick up on any of the tasting notes or find much going on :/
This coffee was a nice brew. You could subtly taste the apple toffee flavors. The flavors melded together nicely and were not overbearing.

Very versatile bean! Makes VERY good lattes. Plays more like a medium than a light roast, but still able to make solid lungo and ristretto espresso with it.
Nice, but a little on the thin side for me.
We thought this bag was okay. Not a lot of nuanced flavors there, but I could detect more complexity when done on pour over.
For being a bit more bitter this was incredibly flavorful.
Tasted like tobacco
This was soooooo good! Idk how to speak that next level coffee speak, but this coffee was just amazing. All I added was a little bit of milk because the natural flavor was enough, no sugar needed.
I could taste the toffee and chocolate notes really well. Enjoyed this flavor!
Thought this was a bit darker then my liking. Chocolate notes overwhelmed any of the more delicate fruited flavors.
A little less complex to us vs. the first two
Kinda run of the mill medium roast. A little more toasty and not as fruity or floral as I prefer.
Not my favorite. I didn't feel bright or deep enough. With a 16:1 brew it felt really thin and watery with a graham crackery taste
A bit bitter for our taste
Gets better and better with each sip. I typically drink light roasts, but really enjoyed this. Apple up front followed by dark chocolate and nuts on the finish.
Really enjoyed this coffee, and so did my guests.
One of my all time favorites
Pretty ok. Honestly sort of bitter
Really enjoyed the flavor profile of this one.
Great daily driver. The milk chocolate notes are definitely the most prominent.
Somewhat underwhelming, got stale quickly because the bag didn't seal properly. Decent cup but nothing special. Had a nice fruity undertone but nothing came forward to stand out.
This one grew on me.
Again. Love. I cancelled because I don't like the idea of the shipment of coffees then I drank more of this and yum yum yum
I prefer light roasts but a medium was recommended. It's got a very roasty flavor profile without crossing over into burnt. Apple up front with a long bitter finish. Not for me, but good coffee.
Good flavor and consistent extraction via espresso brew method. I could definitely taste the apple tart in the acidity which was pleasant as an Americano, straight shot or in milk drinks
Dank & dark, flat
Very good with chemex
A bit sweet
Will order more! Delicious! Thank you for finding such good beans.
Loved it. Smooth, rich, nutty.
Not a fan. The beans seem not fully roasted.
Preferred as drip rather than espresso. A little lighter body than I prefer.
Delicious. The flavor layers really build if you brew it right.
One of my favorites
Very light - good coffee for later in the day
Great for a pot of coffee or pour over. Turns out bland for a chemex brew however.
Was very mild, good for my taste. I would like to try something like that but just a little bit richer.
I’m not familiar with the flavor notes described. I can’t taste citrus, cherry, oak, etc. but I do like a nutty finishing taste. Is that a thing? I just drink Dunkin’ Donuts Original blend and am happy with it, but have had better
tasting coffees and was hoping to find one I would like a lot.
We absolutely loved this one!
A very nice coffee that reflects the tasting notes. It didn't really stand out in the field though!
The coffee was OK, but the beans were roasted pretty inconsistently. There were lots are beans that were dark roasted.
I have had better guatemala coffee's this one was just not my cup of tea
Another really great Guatemala! I placed Re-order! Rich aroma and great balance.
Great representative of Huehuetenango.
Good... but I have had better.
lauren liked a tad more than ben but basically a 3 star
A little bland / watery. Sweet and slightly chocolatey.
Opened up more in the V60 compared to aeropress. Relaxed sweetness.
We love this coffee. My boyfriend says it takes like chocolate milk, so smooth, absolutely no bitterness or sourness.
Medium body, very smooth. Apple flavor very forward but not overpowering.
It's hard for me to describe why I like certain roasters, but I know which ones I like. It's one of the best we've ever received.
I loved this coffee, I found it juicy and sweet.
Well-balanced bright and sweet cup! This coffee leads with a burst of light apple-like acidity, before easing into a caramel, toffee sweetness.
