The Squilchuck Blend was blended and roasted for you by Mela Coffee Roasting Company. The Squilchuck Blend features coffees from Brazil and Honduras. Roasted and blended to achieve a consistent, excellent flavor, this blend appeals to a broad range of palates. We think this coffee has smooth notes of deep chocolate and roasted nuts.

We thought this was a little boring. It didn’t have a really bold or punchy flavor, I couldn’t even get a lot of the stereotypical coffee flavor out of it. we brewed it drip and pour over too…maybe it was just a bad batch?
Roast way too dark for my preference
Heavy on the richness
Best one yet! :)
This has been my favorite everyday coffee so far. When it came in, my wife - who doesn’t like coffee at all - commented on how great it smelled. Definitely something I’ll order separately.
Maybe my favorite one yet. Brewed at 200 degrees per the suggested instructions on the bag. It makes for a really silky smooth cup, with all the classic coffee flavors, chocolate, toffee, a little nutty.
Quality coffee, but wasn't my favorite
Loved it, it's one of those brews I hide from the fam...more for me!
Solid, could brew another bag
Bag was opened from the bottom when I got it, tastes ok
Loved it! Felt like a perfect balance in flavor. Did not add any sugar or anything else to it.
Did not like tasted like bad reststop coffee, ended up giving the coffee away couldn't stomach it
Soft flavor with fruity finish. I thought at first that I didn't use enough coffee, so tried increasing recipe amount and finer grind in my pour-overs. Not much difference. Good for a calm, satisfying cup.
Great smells, great tastes. Package came apart in the mail, some beans spilled out, need better packaging.
It was really good for dark roast tones with some bitterness balanced with sweet chocolate hits.
The chocolate note was very forward in the nose with a hint of vanilla and brown sugar as well. Very enjoyable in the French press and lasting flavor on the finish.
This grinds beautifully and produces a fantastic shot of espresso. The flavor is good and doesn’t overpower any syrups or flavors I add when I make a latte.
Nicely balanced espresso/latte, came out nicely with just a slightly coarser grind. Good french press, as well.
Pretty tasty solid medium-dark roast, lots of chocolate notes and body.
Easy drink but light sometimes
IM IN LOVE! Please send me more if this
This coffee was listed as a medium light roast, yet I would consider it a medim dark roast.
A little smoky for my taste.
This is super tasty! Everyone loved it. My only thought on improving upon it for us would be for it to be a lighter roast!
Strong and aromatic
I liked this one. Nutty, floral, and smooth.
Just too dark of a roast for my liking.
im Changing my review. This coffee is super burnt. My wife and I both do not like it and we have varying degrees of acceptability in tastes and neither of us have enjoyed it :/
Very good coffee but not bright enough for my taste
too dark and strong flavored for me. But like the caffeine buzz!
I can't remember what this tasted like, but I think it was good.
My favorite so far. Smooth, but strong enough and just great flavor. Hints of chocolate, but not overwhelming.
Solid coffee that I think anyone would find enjoyable. Above average flavor, average smoothness.
The beans were difficult to smell while in the bag. I kept smelling the brown paper bag itself. The brew tastes like a chocolate covered nut with a carmel aftertaste.
I love coffee from honduras! I love the nutty notes :)
Previously reviewed on 8/22. I would have to say that this has been favorite coffee so far. Great aroma, smooth flavor, not acidic at all. I would buy this on my own.
Had that Mmmmm coffee aroma when I opened the bag. Brewed in Aeropress, Breville Barista Express and a Melita drip maker. Loved the coffee from all 3! Smooth even when strong. Yummy!
Solid, not spectacular
Loved this one as much as the previous
This was a great bounce back after a few duds in a row.
Very balanced and flavorful
This was fantastic. Great aroma. Great in the cup. Full flavor but it didn't seem like a dark roast even if the beans did look the part. I was very impressed with this one!
Got through this bag in about a week. Overall a good daily drink, nothing special but quality average
Nice, strong roast.

Love this coffee and my guest do too!
Not my favorite
The taste is amazing, but the effect of this coffee on myself and my wife is not good. We both agree this coffee is too intense. It made us feel irritable and unable to sleep. We are both fast caffeine metabolizers.
This coffee hit the nail on the head. We LOVE this coffee. This coffee is rich and smooth with wonderful rich notes of nutty flavor.
I really enjoyed this one! Great in a pour over
Enjoyable, but not a favorite. This one has a very mild flavor, best enjoyed when brewed strong and served black.
A little bit better than the Ava Blonde Blend I was given as a gift. This blend did seem to have a uniques flavor, seemed full-bodied, and smooth.
A solid, yet uninspiring coffee. Easy to extract, and sits on the fence of taste characteristics. I'm not necessarily opposed to this blend, but found it difficult to draw any nuance from.
Liked this one!
I think I like the darker, oil coffees better.
Nice chocolate blend but relatively unmemorable
This was a nice mild & smooth coffee. It didn't seem to be really complex, but a pleasant coffee to sip
DId not enjoy this one in the V60, it was alright through the aeropress, but seemed a bit too bland and bitter for my liking.
Great stuff. I taste a little cherry when brewed standard method in my Aeropress.
