This coffee will be fresh roasted for you. We expect Parisi Artisan Coffee will roast and ship this coffee in 1-2 business days depending on their roasting schedule.
This is the Sunrise Sensation brought to you by Parisi Artisan Coffee. A beautiful blend of organic South American coffees, The mouthfeel is full, rich, buttery and balanced, with notes of chocolate and hazelnut.
We liked this but not as much as the first one we received! Thank you!!
Poor taste, no interesting tasting notes. Seemed burnt and bland.
It's not you, it's me! :) I'm just not a fan of Italian-style, medium-to-dark roasts.
Not very flavorful
Too rich for our tastes
Not my taste. Too acidic.
Bit too dark for my liking
Only brewed twice. Tastes burnt.
This has been my favorite brew of 2019! I look forward to drinking it as soon as I open my eyes!
Love the flavor, very smooth
toasted walnuts, a bit astringent. bitter chocolate, and some notes of cedar.
Rich and smooth, not bitter.
Good flavor, harder to get the grind right than the other coffees for some reason.
I just got this and I've tried it a few different ways, and I cannot get it to taste good. I even tried it with some half and half a sweetener (I normally drink it black), but that couldn't save this coffee. It's supposed to be a medium roast, but it tastes burnt/ashy, but doesn't look over roasted.
Light and flavorful. Better hot than cold brewed.
This was much better than the first one. I liked the chocolate and nutty tones much better than the fruit ones.
It has a good flavor.
I haven't been able to taste it yet. I have slowed down to 1 cup a day instead of my usual 2-3 cups. I also need to switch to decaffeinated coffee. Please skip 2 months and ship the next one out in September. By then I would have caught up on my coffee drinking. Also, please make it decaffeinated. It was not bad, I just haven't tasted it yet.
Thanks, Fern Goldstein
Beautifully chosen! Balanced and super smooth, with a strong nutty note that almost has a dessert-like feel and taste. It's a darker roast than I typically would go for, which I love! Amazing coffee, and amazing choice.
It was just okay...
Solid coffee, as described. Rich and satisfying. Bordering on a medium roast.
Rich, full cup with a light chocolate flavor
A bit too bitter
Bright, nutty, but lacking in depth (for me).
Not very flavorful. When I first open a new bag of coffee, it usually has a wonderful strong smell of being freshly roasted. This coffee did not do that. I almost thought maybe it was roasted awhile ago. The flavor was okay, but just kind of bland. I wouldn’t get this one again.
I like this one much better than the last one. Definitely prefer a light to medium roast. Thank you.
I like this one, but I think I prefer the Sugar Skull Blend a bit more.
This coffee has been very consistent with every cup, I have made it with my V60 and French Press and it was great either way. Not in with the branding, but I’m picky that way.
Acidity (7) – slightly acidic, dry, tart, and hard. Body (5) – Medium body, rich, dry, rough, astringent. Sweetness (2) bitter, caramel aroma, stringent, bakers chocolate. Finish (2) – back of the mouth, bitter, dry, unpleasant, lingering, harsh. Chemex, 1:16 ratio, 52.5g coffee, 840g water, 200F. Grind setting 8 on De'Longhi Dedica.
I've been enjoying this coffee. It's a little darker then I usually like but with a higher ratio of water then normal its highlights some sweeter notes.
Enjoyed it! Was a very good coffee to drink everyday at any time! Very good!
I quite like the flavor of this coffee. I have been enjoying it more iced rather than hot. That may have to do with the hotter temperatures where I am right now. :-) Overall, a pretty good coffee.
Good Coffee w/ very little bitterness but flavorful cup. But, I probably would not get again.
This was just a decent all-around cup of coffee, regardless of brew strength. Liked it, didn't love it.
Good coffee though not one I can see myself purchasing again
As my first coffee it was really good. Full flavor and great aftertaste. I just felt like there was a little more left to be desired hence the four stars. Good stuff!
This coffee was a pretty good choice. I enjoyed the notes of chocolate and nuts but a few times it was too bitter. This might have been a brewing error on my part but other than that this coffee was a good choice.
I enjoyed this coffee. It had a really smooth flavor and didn't taste acidic.
I'm confused, the blend you sent me has the name "Italian Blend" on the label - not "Sunshine Sensation".
.the flavor states chocolate and molalasses. I don't detect either but then my tastebuds are 74 years old! LOL. I DO LIKE THE COFFEE. The first batch I made had a strong espresso flavor which I like. This second batch this morning not so much flavor, but I think I made it a bit weak for my taste. I is a smooth coffee, no bitter taste. I like the espresso flavor.
Love it! Really flavorful
Less bitter than the previous one.
I do enjoy this blend but it's not my favorite.
Nice smooth cup.
Good to wake up to in the morning.
The Sunrise Sensation was a solid coffee. I like a little bit of punch in my morning coffee, but don't always enjoy the bitterness that comes with that punch. I found that this coffee was not bitter in the least and had a nice finish.
Weak, light color.
This coffee was lighter than we usually like. It tends to seem a bit weak, even as we add more beans to the brew or use a finer grind. No bitterness at all (which is wonderful), and the chocolate/nutty undertones were subtle, but there. It's good, but not outstanding.
It wasn't strong enough for my taste. It was similar to Starbucks Sumatra.
Full flavor without being too earthy.
This roast is definitely closer to my zone. It is much smoother and richer, but it lacking in aroma and strength.
Best one yet!! I drink this black, no sweetener needed. Very rich but smooth, no bitterness at all.
Definitely a nice cup of coffee. Enjoyed the chocolatey smoothness.
Using this bag primarily with an Espresso machine, it produced a very balanced cup. While I could taste the chocolate and nuts, the flavor wasn't too powerful. It wasn't something to write home about but it was good!
This coffee is awesome. Very easy to drink and definitely has a smooth buttery feel but doesn't let you down with the hints of cocoa and nuts. Every time I finish a cup I want another one!
It seems very acidic and lighter then I expected.
Too mild, even bland
Not as good as our first shipment. Wasn't as aromatic or flavorful. It had minimal flavor to me upfront, but left a long bitter taste that I did not care too much for.
Smooth finish with soft chocolate notes
Leaves too strong of dark, chocolate aftertaste that coats the tongue. Do not like.
Excellent way to start the day. Smooth, morning coffee.
Love this blend !! Keep it coming.
A little far for my taste, but still good.
I liked it.
This was not fantastic, but it wasn't quite as bad as I would have expected given the other reviews. Probably a 2.5 stars. Slight off notes of metallic and sour, and not something you get excited about coming back to.
Too many lighter roasts; please send some darker roasts
Nothing special and not our favorite. Almost overwhelmingly earthy on the front palette, with a slight buttery note on the finish.
Beautiful packaging, horrendous coffee. The scent is metallic and stale. The flavor is also metallic and a bit rancid. I feel bad giving such a negative review but I honestly couldn't find anything redeeming about it. Giving it one star because it won't let me give less. Dissapointment in a cup.
Pretty disappointed in these beans. They did not seem very fresh and almost more mass market. Instead of a roasted on date, they had an experiation date of one-year and even advized the buyer they could freeze the beans on the bag. The taste is okay, but nothing special and the aroma didn't scream "we are fresh roasted" to me. Probably a step-up from buying beans at Target, but not by much,
pretty good but I feel like I like a little bit bolder coffee
I like this one. Not too dark, not too light. Just right. Delicious
I don't know about this one. The description got my hopes up. Buttery and chocolate got my tastebuds ready for a game changer. Then the bag came. It had an expiration date of June 2016 stamped on it (one year)! Say what?! I'm sorry, this is unacceptable for craft coffee. It should have a roast date and recommendation to consume within two weeks. I was almost offended. Moving on, I did drink it and was let down. By buttery, they must have meant "hint of." This was an extremely average cup in the craft coffee world. It was not fantastically rich, it was very subtle and had an over roasted bite to it.
Sweet and rich, medium body. I enjoyed it, I think it was a good pick.
I drank it. would never buy it again.
Good coffee in the morning.. Sometime a bit bright, but was enjoyable.
Very nice, loved the chocolate notes
Very rich cup of coffee. Much enjoyed this in the aeropress.
This was a rich coffee without a lot of acidity or being over powering. It had a nice nutty taste to it and also tasted great as iced coffee.
