This is the El Salvador Manzano Natural brought to you by Topeca Coffee Roasters. This natural processed coffee was grown by Emilio Lopez Diaz in the Santa Ana region of El Salvador between 1,300 and 1,550 meters above sea level.
Now this was excellent. Nice and bright, with a light nuttiness that softened any tang. Clean and bright cup that was perfect for what I expected.
Good fruity notes. Brewed on both Chemex and Aeropress using baratza encore grinder. Setting 20 for chemex and 12 for aeropress produced best results.

Pleasant sweetness and a bit of the tropical fruit acidity. Great with French press and I even managed to pull a few good espresso shots with it. Will get it again
Very floral, delicious chocolate covered strawberry notes when cooled. All our coffee lovers were huge fans. Our non-coffee people were less impressed with the "fruit tea" like flavor.
Brew Method: Manual Pour Over with Hario V60 ceramic/Hario natural brown filters/Baratzia Encore grinder set to 14-16 Usual coffee amount between 20-30g, with water ratio of 1:16.5. Water temperature approximately 206F. Generally follow the Hoffman method.
Took about half the bag before I could dial in proper grind setting and water temp to get nice flavors and minimize back-end bitterness. I think this was because I almost exclusively drink pretty light roasts and this one is a bit darker. Initially I was getting really long brew times with my normal grind size/temperature methods, which was what I believe to have been contributing to over-extraction and unwanted flavors.
Description lists "strawberry" and "almond" notes, but I mostly got South American stone fruit-y notes. My palate is not incredible or anything, so maybe I was just missing it.
juicy, light and very flavorful. I am enjoying it black
So fresh, so much flavor. My fiance usually drinks coffee with sugar but she didn't want any with this brew. Naturally sweet flavors made for a delicious cup of black coffee for me. Grinded Beans with electric grinder to a course consistency and brewed using a french press.
We LOVED this coffee!
Really nice south american natural with fruity notes and some almondy, peppery tones in the beginning and in the aroma of the brew
