Very dark chocolate throughout. Hints of the burnt marshmallow in many places. Very rich. Colette liked more than Jim.

I found this to be more winey/sharp than smokey or extra dark. I would NOT recommend this for people who like a smokey, expresso-like profile.

I wouldn't do again for espresso. It's all in the roast's name: Ember. Tastes burnt, rather than caramelly and roasty.

Very tasty cup of drip coffee! Definitely get the notes of cocoa. I have to admit, it goes pretty well with a touch of honey and a splash of milk.
