This is the Ethiopia Oromia brought to you by Tony's Coffee. This natural coffee was grown by the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia between 1,770 - 2,200 meters above sea level. The cup is juicy and vibrant with a dominant fruitiness of blueberry with a cocoa powder finish.
This one grew on me over time. At first, I was not a huge fan (maybe a little bitterness, maybe contamination in my equipment). By the end of the bag I was loving it.
Loved this one! Sweet & juicy without too much acidity. Body wasn't too thin, but also not thick & syrupy.
Wonderful balance of sweetness and acidity. Delicious aroma. The blueberry is distinct. The beans smell so sweet before and after grinding. Would love more like this.
I really like this one. The blueberry was there and it had a overall taste that I really enjoyed.
Just kind of meh, to me.
I tasted more citrus than blueberry and this is a very bright coffee. Definite cocoa notes. I wouldn't call this a balanced coffee, but it was good and a super bubbler in a pour over. Not my favorite natural, though.
Very interesting flavor. This coffee went quick here and my husband even stole some to put in his espresso maker!
Couldn’t get much out of this one no matter the grind, tried a kalita wave, v60 and aero press.
Strong blueberry smell. A little more bitter than I prefer, but a decent chocolate taste. Good juiciness.
Love the fruity and chocolate notes, but the roast is too light, not as deep, and a little astringent. My favorite coffee is peet’s ethiopia supernatural, which is a deep, bold chocolate and blueberry bomb.
Dialed in perfectly.
I had trouble brewing this one (I use paper filters/drip). Filters keep clogging, I keep adjusting grind size, but haven’t gotten A great cup yet. May be better for French press.
Very light and fruity, you could definitely taste the berry and citrus notes.
This was an excellent Ethiopian coffee. Both press and pour over methods produced clear and interesting notes. Berry and floral notes with almost a sweetness. Only my 2nd five star rating
All the blueberry I am looking for in an Ethiopia. Roast was a bit darker than my “sweet spot” but it was a great coffee.
This is the best coffee you've sent me yet.
Thanks for all the Ethiopians, we are ready to only get those every once in a while again, as you see fit for us. :) feel free to send us anything (even a blend) if it is a fantastic coffe.
A favorite for sure! Bright and fruity and delicious
