Description
The Highland Humanity was blended and roasted for you by Higher Grounds Coffee. This coffee is a medium light roasted blend of coffees from Mexico. Certified Fair Trade and Organic, this blend was named in honor of the highlands in Chiapas, Mexico, where the origin story of Higher Grounds began. In the cup, we taste balanced and sweet notes of caramel and cocoa.

The description says medium-light roast, but I'd peg it at a solid medium. This is a great blend that's very versatile as a straight shot or in milk drinks.

Yuck, I wouldn't say this was a dark roast. Very light in color and tasted so acidic.

Good flavor, the color of the brew was really light, for the huge amount of flavor the beans put out--very unique.

This one was just sort of blah to me. Not particularly great, but also not bad. Sort of forgettable. Not something I'd ever order again, but also wouldn't necessarily turn it down either.

Tries to be balanced, but flavors are a bit disjointed and thin; First you get the bitterness, then the acidity, and then...slightly sweet nothingness on the backend.

I found this a good choice, but more often i find it hard to brew after grinding. Mine dried up enough that it nearly powders itself as it crunches away in the hand mill.

This is a pretty nice coffee, more on the mellow side of my preference, but nice. It is exactly as described- balanced, not bitter, with sweet notes of caramel and cocoa.

Tried this on a gamble. It’s a well flavored blend, but the toasty taste of anything much past medium is a lot for me. It takes sugar and cream well, which is how I will be drinking this bag.

Amazing brew of coffee. To me a good cup of coffee starts when you first open the bag. The aroma that greets you often tells what the cup will be like. This bag set a good standard right from the start. Rich flavor. Smooth and no bitterness. Excellent.
