Description
The Organic Crown Point Espresso was blended and roasted for you by Sightglass Coffee. This combination of coffees creates a unique harmony of flavors that are greater than the sum of its parts. It was crafted to pair tremendously with milk, and offer a blend for drinkers of all types. This three-part blend has a base of two seasonally rotating Central and South American coffees, complemented by a carefully selected dry-processed Ethiopian. A lively, full-bodied sweetness, clean candy-like fruit flavors, and an elegant lingering finish.

This one is OK, but I think I prefer a darker roast. I still mostly taste only sour notes

The bean is okay with this coffee, yet the subpar packaging means you can only really enjoy it for about three days after opening the package. Even with some secondary containment, the usability of this bean dropped off rapidly when applied to espresso.

I loved this one, especially because I love chocolate and raspberry. Would be happy to get this one again. (Edit: For some reason I didn't like this as much the second time around, perhaps because of the variability of the beans used depending on the season.)

Great textured coffee. No bitterness and all of the flavor profile comes through but isn’t over whelming. I love this coffee.

Faint hints of berry, not much else jumps out. No lingering bitterness, makes a pleasant flat white and americano.

Nice cold brewed with a splash of milk - just don't brew it too strong. I usually do 85g in my giant Ball jar, but I used the last of the bag (92g) and I am not enjoying this batch!

Drinks darker than a medium roast IMO. May be because it's an espresso blend.
Brewed in the Ratio 8 coffee maker. 55g beans, medium grind (24/40 - Baratza Encore). 1.2L of water.

prepared as espresso the body is almost too much for me as a shot - great for milk drinks though. i enjoy the overall flavor balance but was expecting a bit more fruit.
it's darker than i normally prefer for pour over but i thought it was really great in a chemex as well!

good chocolate notes. Good for espresso and south indian style filter coffee.No sourness. Good with milk.

It was a nice roast. Not too light so it wasn't sour
This whole Third Wave really light roast is to me just a Sour Roast when prepared as espresso, those tangy and sour aspects cannot be dialed out. I'm going off topic..this coffee! Lol. It had a rich caramel/butterscotch vibe that would shine in milk but as a straight shot, would give up rich syrupy aromatics and flavor!

I really just dont like this flavor. It makes me feel like i didnt wash the cup enough. Its a little sour a bit fruity not smooth enough.

It’s fine but not for me. This bean tasted the darkest by far of the beans I’ve tried from y’all. It wasn’t a deal breaker but I was surprised that I was gravitating more towards the lighter stuff.
