Wish there was a 4.5/5 selection as it wasn't quiet 5 but better than almost all 4/5 coffees we've rated. Great as a straight shot or in milk based drinks. Flavor was wonderful with just the right amount of cherry notes at the end. Would order this one again.

Fairly good coffee with prominent chocolatey notes coming through the most. I did bother the cherries which is what I was most looking forward to.

Good espresso, milk chocolatey and sweet prepared as a cortado. There's a lingering bitter after taste, but overall I'd get it again.

This was an excellent coffee! It has a bright, complex taste, but somehow also soft mouthfeel. It was a coffee I was looking forward to every single day. The bag ran out far too soon.

Once I got the grind right this coffee really shone; a satisfying syrupy body with a rich, milk chocolatey flavor uplifted with a bit of cherry tartness in the background - yum! Could it have been a little more exciting/intriguing? Probably. Loved the sustainability efforts of the roaster.
I use AeroPress with the Cafe Concetto SuperFine filter. When I started with my usual recipe the cup was waaay too tart/cherry for my taste and it took me more than half the bag to get it right since at first I thought a coarser grind might produce fuller body with less tartness. Turned out it was the opposite. I used one of the finest grinds in the AeroPress range and this coffee become delicious.
My final recipe was: 200F water, 1:16.6 coffee.
30 second bloom with 1:2, swirled at 15 seconds, then filled with remaining water and briefly stirred at 1:00 then stopped with plunger. Pressed at 2:00.

Perfect "Goldilocks" roast level (for me at least)... dark enough to let the deep, earthy notes of the beans shine through, light enough not to taste burnt. Lovely in milk drinks and also as a straight shot. Winner!

WOW! Absolutely incredible. It's complex, rich, just slightly fruity which I didn't think I liked, but apparently I do, because this is among the best I've gotten through Mistobox, and I've been here for awhile now!
