This is the Brasil Fazenda Barinas brought to you by Greenway Coffee Company. This pulped natural coffee was sourced from the growing region of Cerrado de Minero in Brazil and was produced by the Marcio Borges Castro Alves on the farm Fazenda Barinas at 1,000 meters. The cup is sweet, rich, and full bodied with notes of rocky road, like milk chocolate, marshmallow, and almonds with a creamy nut butter texture and soft vanilla note.
Enjoyed the lighter roast, but a little less going on with body/flavor than expected.
If you like Rocky Road ice cream, this coffee will make you reevaluate your ice cream choices. This is one of my least favorite copies that I have received from Mistobox. However, I will probably give another roast of there’s another chance as this coffee company has been suggested to me by many friends. However, if someone offered me a cup of this, I would have to think long and hard before I took the first sip. In the end, I would probably drink a cup because it is still coffee, but I would not buy a bag for myself.
Fazenda Barinas was amazing when I got the ratio right. I liked it really strong from a French Press. Too little beans and it lost a lot of the flavor.
Nice and nutty just bold enough but did absorbs my creamer very easily
