Description
The Brazil Terra Alta Peaberry was carefully roasted for you by Bird Rock Coffee Roasters. Fazenda Terra Alta was born in 2010, when Paulo and Juliana Piancastelli left their corporate lives behind and searched for greener pastures. They built an independent importing/exporting structure that supports the Direct Trade model fully. They are in complete control of the coffee during shipment and are selective about which warehouses receive their coffee. We're tasting notes of chocolate, pecan, and fig in a rich, dense cup.

I used to love Bird Rock. I don't know if they changed, or me. But, it is less wonderful than it used to be. We struggled to finish the bag.

This was underwhelming for me. I tend to prefer floral and/or citrus notes, and this just seemed bland. It was relatively smooth, but nothing I would get again.

This coffee is excellent. From the moment I opened the bag I liked it. The chocolate and fig flavors hit home. The roast is the perfect level to bring out the flavors.
